Personally I didn’t like the experience I had during the beta. It plays like every CoD before, spawns seem more broken than ever especially on the smaller maps and there‘s more small maps than ever. I also didn’t like most maps which is strange since the maps always were the best part for me. Not buying it for release.

I began to notice the decline in the game's performance and playability when they introduced the Rank monsters (black) cards. Synchro monster albeit at first were not bad and some a bit overpowered, still acted like fusion monsters without the use of a poly. Which honestly should have been how fusion monsters worked from the start. Once they started adding Link, pendulum etc they were just breaking the game by adding mechanics that didn't exist previously. These new card types just created massive problems that led to the power creep. They should have never introduced the new systems of card mechanics into the old ones.

Yeah it took them 2 years to add a forge mode to a halo that they worked on for 7 years straight. Very late to this vid and the state of halo rn is very similar to what the streamers predicted BUT if they had their way it would have been even worse. The game may have had a longer appeal to non halo fans, but would’ve pushed more core fans away. I can think of very few Titanfall fans who consistently enjoyed Apex. It may as well be a completely separate franchise that has official cameos, heck the devs don’t treat it like they have to incorporate previous lore most of the time. The same would’ve happened to halo.
