I have for years grinded this game solely due to fomo and for what in 9 months it all goes away. I’m prestige 9 at the moment but I actually uninstalled all 250 gb of cod glad I did now I have room on my series x for games I actually enjoy playing!

A long time ago their were gamers who predicted that it would be all about the revenue stream and literally nothing else and now here we are. The old phrase 'I TOLD YOU SO' comes to mind. Good vid highlighting the total greed because of the people who now own these games and the developers. The only people they are interested about are the shareholders and their dividends in my opinion.

And there on the other side of things, you have the Helldivers 2 devs giving a bundle away for free to apologise for the over pricing of a followup bundle. Cash of Duty I think needs to have a bit of a think about its overall offering going forward if it wants to survive in the future.

I think the reason CoD decided to do a bit with Squid Game is because Season 2 prominently features military service as a major part of the plot for multiple characters

On top of this, im missing the warzone easter eggs that there was during MWIII's life cycle, in terms of QoL and extra fun factors (like more common animated/special camo unlocks too) this year they took 5 steps backwards after MWIII post launch being 5 steps forward (even though launch was dry there tbh but still).. love the core game of BO6 but all the stuff more around it (broken anti-cheat, buggy updates etc..) is sad to see, especially when finally they had 4 years to make the game at least.

I caved and got the skin because of the Rose thing. They only have like 2-3 black skins per game cycle. Just tested it in zombies. You're completely hidden in mild shadow. Honestly I'm just glad to have an operator that doesn't have a wild accent. With the voice actor drama Activision is going through, I don't see them having any brand new operators any time soon.

Really? That's ridiculous. So if you want to get all the Squid Game stuff you just need to buy the event pass, either play enough to unlock it all or pay to unlock the tiers, and then buy the VIP bundle and the statue bundle.

Are you crazy? COD is only about KDA, killstreaks, camos. Nobody gives a damn about losing or winning as a team. If you want teamplay then go for Battlefield games where any player is nothing compared to 32 enemies. Hence there are Assault, Medic, Support, Sniper classes so everybody gets a role.

You're right, it's just cosmetics and no one needs it. I think people (including me) are more annoyed that the game isn't that interesting, the modes aren't polished, things aren't getting fixed, but they are constantly finding more ways to encourage you to spend money. Rather than making the game more fun, they just seem to be focusing on finding new ways to sell you stuff. The paid operator in this wearing all black like all the past OP skins is just a bit ridiculous since they all caused a problem before, then they get removed, and now they're selling a new one
