he and 141 strike team (8 members) raiding the heavy guarded safe house after get ambushed, defend it when downloading intel, and run away with only Ghost and Roach survived (Archer and Toad are sniper support team), and when they finally reach the exfil chopper, they got backstabbed by their direct commander and then burned alive. Compare to Roach, Jackson still have almost entire of his platoon with him when the nuke go off, it more like a dissaster, Allen most likely thought his cover blow in last few seconds and Harkov got ambushed by Makarov, Roach death is much more impactful to player's mental bcs it a direct betrayal, and burned to death while bleeding out is one of the most painful way to die. Not to mention he gone through many deadly situation (infil air base with team of 2 with Soap, pushing throught hostile favela alone, successful rescue Price from gulag and barely survived entire safe house raid. Like someone said ""The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies"" , other MW Trilogy playable character's death caused by enemy, except Roach.

I don't like this scene. In the OG one, you walk on the corner all by yourself. But in the remastered, Roach lays on the wall automaticly. You know if you don't press up, you will not fall. But in the OG, you were in the control. I remember developers talking about this in a podcast.
