I appreciate Nick still having faith in Call of Duty. I had mine revived with MW2019 but it was all downhill from there on. I do hope COD finds its footing again in the coming years. The only thing that would revive my interest in this franchise is if they introduce destruction physics. It’s 2024 FFS and everything feels so stiff without any form of destruction

I dont mind them not having destruction. But the campaign absolutely needs to go back to the old format. This years (and the last couple years) have featured some weak solo campaigns

Destruction would be a cool mechanic, but it changes the whole dynamics of Call of duty, as Call of duty will always be an arena shooter at its core, even with ground war offering large scale battles with vehicles, the game has still been balanced with arena maps in mind, that’s why I wasn’t a fan of their take on large scale battles as the weapons particularly snipers were far too overpowered compared to Battlefield (prior 2042) who are well acquainted with large scale battles, balancing their game out much better making it so you have to go for head shots to earn a Insta-kill otherwise two shots are required, which is how it should’ve been in ground war as the snipers dominated the mode to the point where playing anything else wasn’t feasible. As for the campaigns, I thought they did a fantastic job with all of them except Black Ops 4 as they removed the campaign, and Black Ops Cold War felt too short, and this years MW3 was pushed out too early to be anything substantial, however I can’t say I felt the same for MW2019 & MWII campaigns, sure their not as grandiose as earlier titles, but the earlier games had a habit for exaggerating real life warfare where I think the reboots have tried to take a more realistic approach to actual warfare.

Absolutely enjoying it. Even with its flaws at the moment. New gulag tweaks like “locked and loaded” “go again” and “cash drop” keep the gulag feeling fresh. Which as someone who spends half his night there. Is a nice QoL change. Appreciate the games man! Great vid! And look forward to finally getting that victory!

I think it does. Def still run into some suspicious players every now and again, but compared to other pc games, cheaters do seem pretty rare

It uses its own software called Ricochet, although I don’t know if it’s up there with Battle-eye. It could be I just don’t know.

I got an idea for you though you probably have a whole journal full of them: History of Sonic Games. I was looking through to see what Sonic games are available to play on Series X and what I would need to do to play delisted ones and man there’s a TON! I thought Ah hopefully my friend Nick930 has a “History Of” for Sonic. Alas, I was disappointed.

I’ve encountered more bugs on warzone than I did in cyberpunk 2077. 2/10 This game makes Colonial Marines look good.

BR in general is a headache, due to its competitive nature.

Yeah, as someone who can't deal with the competitive PvP stuff anymore (I can barely keep up with the actual MP in CoD anymore, it's so fast help me!) the BR modes are just not for me. I think the only BR games I've ever gotten into are all basically shut down at this point, or soon to be shut down (Ring of Elysium comes to mind, loved that one).

@@LordLOC we play games for stress relief. But these BR trends and competitive games are rising our stress to next level. Old school cod games are huge relief. But nowadays cod having SBMM hurts more in long run. Imo, in case of multiplayer fps now, Battlefield is the only non competitive AAA casual arcade game alive. But due to the corporate greed, BFV and 2042 sucks also. Competitive gaming and micro transactions are the worst things that ever happen to fps gaming.

This is why I play CS2. I don’t have to sweat with all the movement. The challenge is less about movement and more about aim, map knowledge, and strategy.

I understand a lot of people lost faith with the “main games” price. Trust me I do too, but I’m having a ton of fun with my friends on it and Warzone. Sure it’s not unexcusable for the incompetence at Activision but I’ve never had this much fun since BO3 and I think might be the highest peak or Warzone ever reached.

its basicly back to wz1 with all the QOL stuff they have brough since then. that being said the servers are very much unstable, the audio is trash and i cant help but imagine how far the mode would have come without the "wz2" year.

I gotta be totally honest here, I understand Warzone is all about the gameplay action but the environment seems so bland and lifeless. just look at the trees. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has better trees and I even dare say better skyboxes and even weather effects. rather depressing that this is our modern standard.

90 is good for me. Anymore and the image looks warped and fisheyed. I'm not a fan of maxing out the fov personally
