I am a beginner crocheter and I wanted to try something new. You made this stitch so easy to do that I almost feel like I’ve known it for forever. I am currently making a cancer blanket for my grandma for Christmas and I am using this pattern. I am so excited to see what it looks like when it’s done! Thanks again for all your hard work and the beautiful way you describe the different steps and the tips and tricks! Can’t wait for the next call the midwife tutorial to come out

Loved this pattern! Made it for my Grandson and Son! You were so "thorough" and took your time so we understood the pattern! I've been crocheting for 30 years, this is truly one of my most favorite patterns!!! Thank you. ❤

I literally just learned how to crochet by watching various you tube videos. I always admired the dragonfly stitch but never dared to try it! I watched your video and you made it look easy so I decided to give it a try. You are so patient and take the time to explain EVERYTHING you are doing. I’m happy to say I completed my sample piece and I’m so proud of it but I would have never been able to do it without your tutorial! Needless to say I subscribed to your channel and look forward to watching more of your videos! I can’t thank you enough. As soon as I decide the colors I’ll be making a dragonfly blanket! Thank you thank you thank you! You’re the best!

Just learned how to make this pattern. I did it in a shawl version with 4 panels of the dragonflies. It's coming out really nice. Can't wait to use it for the winter.

Thank you for this clear and easy to follow tutorial. I found your voice and delivery to be just right and not harsh or grating like some. I love this variation on the Call the Midwife blanket, which I have made more times than I can remember! This special blanket is being made for my first grandchild. Thank you again! 💙💙💙

I love all the different variations of the Midwife afghan. All of these tutorials are posted a year ago. Are you not doing the tutorials anymore, Holly? I love your explanations, your methods of explaining is superb. Your voice is sweetly soothing and kind. I would love to see your explanation of a bumble bee block and other creatures of the meadow. I wish to make an afghan that has all the different patterns of flowers and flutterings if the meadow scattered into different blocks of one afghan. I think it would take this humble pattern to another level.

I would like to say thank you for the tutorial it is so straightforward. This pattern is far easier than the original call the midwife blanket which I have made following an original old school written pattern . My only confusion with pattern is the use of American terms. I’m used to using UK terms so have to stop and think for a moment! I had no problem with sound. Thank you so much for sharing😃

Kimberly Harrison I’ve had this happen too, did you ever resolve the issue?
@SBrewster304 жыл бұрын
I did too. Maybe my math is awful (it is) so I ended up with two extra "blocks" at the end. After frogging twice I gave up, folded them over, and sewed it down. Looks a little funky, but I had to move on!

Hi Holly please can you tell me how many stitches do I need to do to make the dragonfly blanket bigger thanks.
@RainbowPawPrint2 жыл бұрын
You add another 16 stitches for each block. In total whatever number of stitches you use should be multiples of 16, plus add 6 at the end.
@yvonneperich15694 жыл бұрын
Hi Holly just another question I have for you. Do you have a written pattern for this dragonfly blanket . Thank you

Really she is clear precise and goes back for further understanding . I suggest you put up your sound and watch this first before starting your project. I have crocheted for 63 years and I always read whole pattern instructions and with KZbin I watch it. Write down her multiplies eg multiple of 10 plus 3 so for a ten set you would have 10 x 10 = 100 plus 10 x 3 = 30 so you have to crochet 130 chains. As I watch and write this post she is an excellent teacher with patience and a lovely clear speech.
@jesslyngarrett50535 жыл бұрын
Francien Daniels-Webb I love the video and yes shes an amazing teacher and was speaking clear, it was just hard to hear even with my volume turned up and I even plugged it into a speaker and still couldn’t hear it and I was only letting her know Incase she wanted to speak a little louder for future videos. Other than that, this is a perfect video! 💕
