Interesting results. I suspect the QI35 is gonna clean up just because it looks so good

The looks of the Qi35 are very good but even though the Elyte may not be best looking Callaway driver it does perform very well.

why would anything but performance be your only criteria?

How much of this is down to the different shafts? Would love to see a comparison with the same shafts in play

ping about to come in and beat everyone like usual they are always the straightest easiest to hit drivers and the LST goes far af slightly slower then the other LS drivers but much more forgiving

TaylorMade has definitely nailed the aesthetics this year.

Give me more control over 4 yards. I would imagine if you went up to 9 degree on the Elyte the carry and height/spin would be closer
@bunkeredКүн бұрын
Probably, but to make it an even field I have to keep them on the same settings so it's fair. But it just shows you it is lower launching and lower spinning in comparison.
@FrankEnfurter-y3wКүн бұрын
@ yeah I absolutely get that otherwise people would say it’s not like for like. Wasn’t a criticism just an observation 👍
@bunkeredКүн бұрын
@FrankEnfurter-y3w 100%. That's also the great thing about the adjustability with these drivers. You can loft up or down to get the most out of your drives and move the weighting on the sole to make it faster or more forgiving.

What is that everyone hates about the Callaway?! I mean, the TM looks great, maybe one of the best looking ever! But the Callaway looks class, as well. Don’t get the “cheap” line everybody’s using
@lkae422 сағат бұрын
It looks like a Top Flite driver, man. Not horrible. I remember when the Top Flite Gamer was the best budget golf ball. A forest green would be class.
@djrondo122441 минут бұрын
Agree who cares what the bottom looks like… the cover is on in your bag for most and from the top down at address it looks good and that’s all that matters… golf geeks saying it looks cheap etc..

@@djrondo1224 Also because it looks worse than AI Smoke. Seems half-baked. AI Smoke is a great driver. Callaway should have let it ride for another year.
@djrondo122417 минут бұрын
@ I agree with smoke being better looking driver… no question… just don’t really care to much about the bottom of driver. If it looks good and performs .. let’s go

And if somebody else tests this with a different swing with different dynamic loft, you likely reverse these numbers. Nobody is getting numbers with these new drivers for total distance is what they got in the drivers from 2019 to 2023. You can test these against each other but if you tested them against all the other drivers back to 2017 with an unbiassed tester, you’re going to see the old drivers go further than the newer ones and the forgiveness level is so close. It’s like splitting hairs. And the price on these new drivers is ridiculous. waste of time and money on all this hype

Of course, he's one of World Long Drive guys that can cracked 220 mph ball speed. This appeared to be smooth fairway finder he used for equipment testing and for Golf.

Awesome numbers. I noticed you tee it high like me. I don't get why more amateurs don't do this to hit up on the ball - they peg it lower and it's gonna be a slice all day. I set the clubhead way back from the ball too like Mo Norman. My longest drive on course is 375 yards but I had a strong wind behind me.
@bunkeredКүн бұрын
I usually tee it higher with a 4-inch tee. It's a great way to learn to hit up on the ball.
@lkae422 сағат бұрын
Mainly they don't want a sky mark, I think. I also use a 4" tee but it's because I play a Ping 10k and the CG is different from most drivers. If I tee it low, I will top the ball. This year, I'm thinking about hitting up on my driving iron and fairways off the tee to eliminate the chunk miss.
