hey! i hope i can be of some help incase makayla cant respond yet. but personally i feel like getting rid of nerves never TRULY goes away. its normal for us to be excited about things we are really passionate about and with that, comes nerves. its just a matter of how we handle them so that they dont affect our performance. i would suggest to do something that makes you happy/ resonates most with you before AND after ur audition. whether that be a form of meditation, listening to music, watching your comfort movie etcetc. something that will allow you to get out of your head for a bit and stay grounded. then after ur audition, celebrate it! if it went well, if it went alright, no matter what you should celebrate the small things because getting an audition ALONE is such a huge step! confidence comes with practice and experience. so keep going and good luck :))

Love your channel, I love you advice, I’m hoping to use it soon, and start my own acting career. But with the forgetting lines, my theater class did a monologue script for our final, throughout the entire practice week, and her check ins to see how much we memorized and our last rehearsal I could not get past the first sentence for the life of me. I freaked out the day of my final, and time came and went through the entire script memorized, word for word. It was amazing
