I actually rather like this Ariel. She comes off as sweet, but not saccharine. Not every Ariel gets that balance right, and the fact that Jessie does makes this portrayal much more accessible.

As a performing actor, that random gentleman is most likely a subjective mindset, cleaning crew for the space. Casually floating in a space that these 4 are devouring in artistic creation. Fun to see how people react to art. Or also wonder what would be better then respecting performance space. Fun to see it's still something on this level. We are all human I suppose. Lol! This cast was actually very tight and loving.This was simply a music rehearsal to run through the song - no acting or blocking involved. I think what you're seeing is them concentrating on the song as opposed to interaction.
