As an american who just stumbled upon this delightful show the other day, i would say your “agenda:” is listen to people’s position on a subject. Then ask them obvious questions that they may or may not have thought of. I admit i havent listened to an entire show and have only been watching and or listening to clips on youtube.

the thing is, James doesn't really have to even try that hard to outwit them. He literally just pleads with them to express their opinions or explain why they hold the position they do on whatever the issue at hand is. Most of these morons don't even know why they feel the way they do; they've just been told to believe in something so they do it. When asked why, they just malfunction and start repeating the only parroted talking points they have memorized.

In a nutshell! They are anti-intellectual and hate the fact that their most base instincts are shown up as the heartless, narcisstic impulses of a very degraded mind. They then project that anger onto their intellectual 'betters' (for want of a better term). It is the mindlessness that brought us Brexit.

This is obvious, no one should be hungry in this country; yes, there are people who shouldn't have kids; but thats a separate issue For those children that ARE here; do we starve them to punish the parents? If this were about prisoners being starved we'd be looking at Human rights abuses; so why punish kids for the sins of the parents? Maybe if our s** ed were better we wouldn't need a system for hungry kids It reminds me of a metaphor I heard; a guy has an ant problem at his house, so he burns it down... cheaper than paying an exterminator Admittedly he's now homeless - point is, stopping free meals won't stop child poverty - but education and a better funded social care system might So feed the kids, so they can concentrate, learn and stop repeating past errors Or alternatively, scrap downing street, scrap hs2, scrap the houses of parliament; go back to virtual parliament - put all MPs on Nat. Min. Wage, enough people make ends meet on that apparently, and then we'll have a lot of money for looking after young people Just saying Sorry to rant
@tomgreenslade67984 жыл бұрын
And that is why kids go hungry because the parents that keep having kids when they know they aren’t financially secure or the children become an age where the mother might have to go back out and work, they know the government will be there to fill in the missing pieces. If we took a harder line, these parents would think twice before continuing to add to their brood! Sometimes people have to take responsibility.
@MoltenArmour4 жыл бұрын
@@tomgreenslade6798 So we punish the kids and make them go hungry because of their parents' bad choices? Sorry Pete... I want to live in a country that helps people even after they make mistakes, not one who punishes people for having children.
