I personally don't care either way, if one of the girls collabs with someone from holostars then great because that's a collab and collabs are always fun but if they don't then that's fine too! A long time ago I kind of gave Calli some flak on some old clip for what I perceived at the time to be performatively supporting the Stars without actually doing too much for them or with them. It seemed to me like she was rallying behind a sort of progressive or moral push to help the boys out without wanting to really commit much besides that nominal verbal support. It was a stupid take back then and time and again she's continued to show me how wrong I was. I really appreciate how she does seem to genuinely want to help everyone out with the bit of fame she has, whether from Hololive, Holostars, or just her other friends outside the company.

I 100% understand that a lot of hololive are kinda scared of supporting too much holostarts 'cause some fans are crazy (and that's their JOB, so if they get sabotaged or doxxed by crazy fans they lose money) but I love how supportive Calli (and others) is on Holostars. Not just by words, but literally collabing and cheering with them, despite the risks.

Kronii lost a lot of sub after the first collab with holostars, but she didn't really cared (maybe) 'cause for how good imo she is, she's a "normal" streamer. Calli has the reputation of the "masculine" (i'm sorry if it sounds sexist, but I don't really know how to describe it better) girl, the dad of the situation, so she does have simps, but less jealous and aggressive. If Gura collab with a male, she would lose like 50% of her sub and cover would lose A LOT of money, they would never allow her that even if she wants to (ofc she would never share such info in case that happens, but still). She is THE idol, in fact even if she streams once every couple month she doesn't graduate, 'cause with music and merch she makes a lot of money for the company, if she loses her simps (no offense to her fans, I am one of them, she's my fav holomember and the first vtuber I've ever watched) it's a big mess.

So I am one of those who agree with you, I would love to see more interactions between starts and live, and normalize the thing as it is, friends hanging out, but a lot of people on internet are not really sane in their brain, and as longa as this is a JOB for hololive talents, they have to think about that too, and not only what they want.
