@@Kenkatsu17 it's because it is constantly mutating, so while you might have some defenses towards it in some way, there's no way to really be immune. that's why the vaccine is constantly changing too, to combat the new strains. but there's also experimentation in targeting the flu from a specific aspect that ALL flu strains have, even the mutations, and if that winds up working out, they could potentially have an all-encompassing vaccine rather than a seasonal one. which would be, uh, really cool. like, smallpox-eradicating cool, since the flu kills so many people a year. hell, they're on the verge of wiping out polio too. science is cool!

Bread with noodles (Usually noodles on toast). Bread with pasta. Bread with potatoes (This one isn't that unusual... Chip Butty is a staple in the UK. But I still do things like have mashed potato or croquettes on bread). I imagine if I went to Asia, I'd do the same just with rice instead of bread.

Fun fact, a fever might be uncomfortable, but dont try and cool it down, unless the fever is at risk of causing damage to you. A fever is actually your immune system trying to fight the infection by raising your internal temperature too high for the virus or bacteria to survive, while still being in a survivable temperature for your cells to survive. That said, some infections can mesd with this, and both survive the heat, and make your body heat up too much. In short, unless your fever is at dangerous levels, it is a good thing.

very true. it's just kind a hard if we got important job to do. normally if I got fever, and has no important thing to do, I shut myself for a day. spent a whole day resting, mostly sleeping. @@hornmonk3zit The term "pepper" in English originally referred to the spice, specifically black pepper or white pepper. These spices were widely known in Europe and were highly valued for centuries. The history dates back to the trade of spices from Asia to Europe during the Middle Ages, where pepper became an extremely valuable and expensive commodity. The demand for pepper was so high that it even triggered explorations and the search for new routes to Asia. However, in some countries like Indonesia, the term "pepper" in English is often misunderstood and used to refer to chili peppers. This misunderstanding might stem from the fact that chili peppers have a spicy taste somewhat similar to pepper and are crucial ingredients in Indonesian cuisine and many other countries' cuisines. Over time, the term "chilli" or "chili" has been more commonly used in English to refer to chili peppers, while "pepper" remains associated with black or white pepper. This helps reduce confusion between the two spicy ingredients.

I'm Indonesian. For me, it is hard to understand the level of spicy for every single person. But the worse level of spicy food is you cannot taste the original flavor of your food, the spiciness could make you cough or feel itchy in the nostril, and for some reason we still like it even though we know the aftermath (i.e. high intensity of defecating even worse diarrhea). So it could be biased but when beside ID hololive talents said the food is spicy, we probably think "Nah it's not too spicy or rather bland." However, we mostly are more used to chili spiciness than wasabi or pepper spiciness. But i guess it depends on what chili we use and I believe they are different with what you use in your country or region.
@codesymbi
@codesymbi 10 ай бұрын
@@masterweebs that's interesting! In my case the highest level of spiciness is when you start sweating, hissing and your face is all red but even in that situation you can still taste the food normally, it just melts your mouth and face 🤣 And i think our most spicy peppers are the ones we call "Manzano" and "Habanero" With "Manzano" as the top 1 for me They look the same but even i can eat Habanero without suffering and the Manzanos scare me 🤣 It also depends if people want to add more stuff to the sauce like different peppers, onion, powders, you know

@@codesymbi well in addition, the level of spiciness could reach the condition just like you described, so yeah we are relatively same in term of spiciness. We have too many variants of spice condiments like Sambal Terasi, Sambal Matah, Sambal Bawang, etc. We also have product called Bon Cabe (it's a brand actually).
