The normal Octobrush currently has one of the best specials in the game, and an aggressive sub weapon that is great for zoning. The Nouveau, on the other hand has a support based sub, and a basically useless special.

Since when are Tentas useless? I've heard almond nothing but good things about it. Yes, it's a bit hard to get kills with it, but to say it's bad is very wrong

The Octobrush Nouveau has a decent kit. The only problem is that the weapon is meant to be aggressive, but its kit says that it's support. This is normally pretty bad, on since the Octobrush is good at flanking, the Beacons allow for better access to flank routes and let you get back into the game when you die. The Tenta Missles are bad on this weapon since it requires you to disengage, but they allow you to find other flankers and stop them. Overall, it could definitely be better, but it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

The reason Mike survived during that brush fight is because you were much too slow swinging the Inkbrush. The Inkbrush is a 4-hit kill. When using it, you gotta be fast with it. Go crazy on that trigger! This is coming from someone who uses the Inkbrush.
