I always find a bunch of thru hikers to follow and then... a few are the ones I watch the most regularly. This year, since I live alone, I started watching with breakfast. I'm not sure whose project I watched before the 2024 season... but these really help. Believe it or not, this is the first time I've heard of Candy Mama!

So crazy! I only started watching AT thru hiker videos this year and really only latched onto one at the beginning of her hike (@Rissa Roams), and she only posted her flip flop completion video a few days ago. I have no Idea what led me to this wonderful young woman who took seven months to complete the trail and who posted nearly every day of her experience. I should be so lucky in finding somebody so similar to follow this coming season. I'll be looking forward to your video.

I have a question; Having followed Y'all's AT journey, inwhich i think that you were using a BigAgnes Tigerwall II tent, which i have purchased, but not yet used, or even set-up ~ Would Y'all send me some of your opinions, with Pros & Cons about it? You’re welcome! We’re happy to do it. It’s something we’ve looked forward to every year for the last few years. Reference the BA TW tent: We love it and will take it again. No cons to which I can think of. There’s nothing I don’t like about it. It’s light enough; easy as pie to set up; 2 vestibules and openings; roomy, nice storage mesh inside; sturdy and reliable in significant weather (wind and rain). There’s also an option to set up the fly first, so if it’s raining, you can jump in and finish setting up the tent underneath the cover of the fly. Honestly, we’ve never used that option and just move with a purpose when it’s raining, but a lot of people like it.

I boldly say that thru your obedience many will be blessed and tears of joy will fall from heaven ( a hem instead of a judge the earth deluge flood as in Noah’s day). I will once again be doing trail magic again this year by sams gap/ standing indian by beauty spot/iron mtn gap/hughes gap and roan mtn trail head. I hope to get the chance to see you all this year. Might also do some trail magic up by rich mountain fire tower ans hurricane gap logging road trail heads. That area is one of my favorite areas to drive my colorado zr2 4x4 truck. Last year i also did yrail magic the last week in aoeul 2024 off unterstatw 40 at the waterville gap trail head and up by max patch trail head. I meet about 45 hikers theose 2 days that i was doing trail magic in those areas.
