Morning coffee and building up the fire before everyone else is up is always my favorite part of a campout too. There’s just something about the quiet, like the calm before the storm, especially if it's a group of kids 😂 Don't worry about not replying to comments when you're on trail. I think we all understand that you don't have energy at the end of a day for that, and especially this next time around when you'll probably have a lot more subs and it might be tough to keep up even on a less active day.

Hello there Mama Bear. I was listening to the part where you try to answer everyone. And I thank you for that. But, when yall go back on the appalachian trail, people shouldn't expect you to answer. Yall will be up at the Crack of dawn, breaking down camp, and then hiking all day. Then, at the end of the day, you and Little Bear will be setting up camp. So, people 😮 should understand about you not being able to respond to people. Thank you

Thanks for what your said about the online tramily , I do like the interaction, that you do with your viewers. There has been alot of other people that i followed a couple of years ago on there AT thru hike , and I tried to interact with them but to no avail, lol I do understand though how hard it must be to do that after a long day of hiking . I dint think I could summon up the strength to do it at all ! Lol 😅 but that's why I like watching your channel the most is because you respond and take the time to read the comments, and actually give thought into what was posted and you seem to really care , and I belive you really do . Soo THANK YOU ! It's fun to watch your trips, and your excursions, and be apart of it even if it is from my recliner! Lol 😅 ohh and nice park BTW! looks like we went camping almost at the same time , cause the weather was sooo cold ! We frozen our tucas off !! HA HA 😂 but we were right by the lake at doe lake campground , soo I think the wind coming off the water had something to do with that . We so look forward to your AT theu hike attempt.. it'll be more exciting this time around since you both did so many miles earlier this year. And I think the kids and I did last year, too. I still remember taking a ride on it when I was on an elementary school field trip as a young girl. Such a cool place! Or you can drive over and enter the state park from the main entrance. You can rent kayaks, ride the glass bottom boat, walk on a few short trails, and have lunch. It’s a beautiful place. That was the Cloudland Canyon campfire on your TV! I almost lost it when Ayva was pumping up the sofa! 😂 It took years off her life the last time. Log cabin fires 💯! MB, you are the most involved KZbinr I've ever seen with comments; I don't know how you do it! Don't sweat it on trail. Our comments are unconditional support.😊 Shoutout to Jadyn! Easily one of the funniest people I know. I wish I could feature her humor more, but sometimes it’s next level and ya know…I have to edit well. 😂 It’s such a privilege to share our adventures with you all. I think I’m have a personal problem-WAITING for y’all to START YOUR AT HIKE!! I cannot wait! I don’t want time to rush cause time goes fast enuf as it is. But just saying-I’m so excited for you two to begin. Watch’n that PowerHouse Lil’Bear navigate her foot steps on the AT. She is so strong on trail! I learn a lot from the both of you. But I do not doubt other viewers are thinking likewise. Praying that Jesus keeps your family safe and you all have a precious Christmas and Grand 2025 New Year’s Day!!

@ I believe with much expectation that our Lord is going to use you two in unimaginable and AWESOME ways in the lives of other hikers! I know you will miss them so very much! But as you well know from the ‘24 hike, you received a wealth of knowledge and experience about the AT-Trail AND people-oh my, the PEOPLE!! Of course I wasn’t there, but I am certain Little Bear was educated in so many unforgettable ways. I see it like this when we are separated from those we love-time moves at the same pace whether we have them near or far, and when we unify again the time seems to have pass to quickly. Like the Bible speaks of how a mother forgets the pain upon delivering her child. The pain of being separated vanishes because you’re all reunited. But the time and miles on the AT is so priceless, especially having Lil’Bear to share in the experiences you’ll be blessed with. Sis, I don’t know if you do this, and if not I request you begin; before you both bed down every night that you both hold hands and pray aloud, but privately in the tent. I would have to believe you do this already, but please do so even if you are dead tired and it feels like your mind has left your head. Absolutely nothing is better than “Prayer”-and praying together can put how many to flight? I’ll be praying for y’all’s safety and success!! And that lil ol “missing them” thang won’t deter you two from climbing Ma-K! Keep God first in EVERYTHING! I’ll be watching and cheering you on, and i guarantee ya the Lord is observing from Heaven. (Gramps in Arkansas!)

I hope you love them as much as we do. My husband also likes them a lot. He works midnight shift and also finds them very effective for a restful sleep. We both wake up rested without any grogginess. And those energy strips! I can’t tell you how many mountains they helped me get over…or push that last mile or two. I will definitely be carrying them in my fanny pack in 2025.

I haven't thru-hiked (yet), but I imagine that if I did and couldn't complete it the first time for whatever reason, I'd also want to start over from the beginning. Maybe it doesn't mean much to say it when I haven't yet experienced it, but I guess I just love the romance of going from beginning to end nonstop.

Yeah, we can relate to that, too. That’s a great way to describe it. There’s something about finishing on top of Katahdin. If for some reason that couldn’t happen, then we would be ok with it, but our preference is definitely NOBO from Springer, too. 😊

Could you tell me the treadmill you use? I've been shopping. At work in our gym they have Matrix treadmills and I love them, they are pricey though. I just want a good treadmill that I can get my 10,000 steps a day when its too cold here in Tennessee. I also want one with the screen where you can watch trails as you walk. Looking forward to your hike. We are near the Smokies in Sevierville. If we can provide a ride or anything or an overnight stay, let me know. ❤

Hi there! We just bought the least expensive one that also offered auto incline. We have the Sunny Health & Fitness, Premium Smart Treadmill from Amazon. It doesn’t have the fancy screen like you’re referring to. I just put it in front of the TV, so I can watch TV and walk if I want to. Thank you for your kind offer! We appreciate you. 💙☀️🙏🏼

Hey if you are looking for a great overnight hike with great campsites, I just went from Chuluota Wilderness to Econ RIver / Barr St in Oviedo. It was about 8 or 9 mi each way and the trail was nice and dry.
