I really like this game’s subtle humor. A few examples: At the end of the Super Gore Nest mission, the objective says, “Get to the Choppa.” The mission shown in the latter part of this video: The human’s first interaction with Doomguy, followed later on by Samuel Hayden’s displeasure of Doomguy using a weapon as a teleporter. The game awards you for punching a Slayer Gate. Last but not least, in the mission to retrieve Samuel Hayden, when you press the down button for the elevator, the floor breaks below you, so you’d be going down anyway.

@MPDeity Spoiler alert. Nope, he is not human, or at least not anymore. In the final battle, Khan Maykr called him as a "once-mortal man who dared to deny people's way of life". He ascended from human to a higher being because a rouge Mayker (Seraphim) gave him some sort of power. You'll see this later in the game as a flashback of the doomguy and some more info from the few last codex-es Mark will get.

I love the fact that Mark seems to forget about astronomical distances. In space combat (theoretically of course) the distance between combatants would be in the multi kilometre range so some dude standing where the shots are fired from would at best see tiny specks of light.
