Honestly, they have the gameplay for it to be a perfect basketball game just they have features in one game then they take it out. For example, the passing in 2k15 was perfect then in 2k18 they take it out and add GLUE HANDS. Off-ball defense in 2k15, etc. They need to stop taking out good features from previous years. Separate Casual from Competitive play, the reason people loved 2K15 so much is that it was actually fun to play. (Save that "simulation basketball" style to competitive. If you separate the two modes everybody wins because for years 2K has tried to make both sides happy and it simply hasn't been working. Competitive: - 5v5 Combine style game mode where people can customize their dribble moves. (There is no reason that we shouldn't be able to simulate the same game that the 2KLeague players are playing on). Have a ranking system similar to CS:GO based on your PER and other statistics and who your playing with and against. (Beating a team of higher ranked players should affect your rank a lot more than a team of lower ranked players.) - Add another 3v3 game mode for people who want to play competitively but maybe don't have a consistent 5 they can play with. Similar to Live Run they have on NBA Live 18 where there is a matchmaking system for people who want quick games and don't want to wait for a Got Next Spot. - The competitive playlist should be similar to the Combine where it is not your MyPlayer. As long as they keep an archetype system in the game there is going to be overpowered archetypes and ones that are underpowered. If we really want to see who is the best of the best it should be based solely of skill not who has the cheesy archetypes and who spent the most time grinding out badges. Casual/Arcade: This is the fun part - This is the "mode" where you would have MyCareer, MyPark, etc and you would have your own build that you can work on. - YOUR BUILD SHOULD BE BASED ON THE WAY YOU PLAY NOT THE LABEL 2K GIVES YOU WHEN YOU CREATE YOUR PLAYER (Someone should be a good shooter because they took the time to learn jump shot timing and how to move without the ball, use screens etc. Not because they chose the "Sharpshooter Archetype" ) - BRING BACK THE JORDAN REC CENTER! I know I'm not the only one who hates playing Walk-On where I get stuck with 70 overall teammates that shoot contested shots the whole game and don't play team defense. We should be able to play 5v5 where we can see who we are playing with and against. - BRING BACK THE OLD REP SYSTEM, Overall should not be our REP, plain and simple, people need to feel like they are working towards something, not grinding out hours doing floaters and alley-oops in my career just to upgrade their lateral quickness from a 68 to a 70. Maybe not the exact same as before where there were 5 levels of each tier but something similar, and also the top reps should have a dope icon. When you see someone with a Mascot and the Legend icon it should be like "wow they worked to get there, respect" A way they could keep this new and exciting is along with the overall rep system add monthly rep rewards, similar to the Battle Pass that Fortnite has. This would give 2k an easy and consistent way they can add new content each month. The last point on this IDK about anyone else but I would love the chance to grind my way to play with a Mascot again I thought that was one of the coolest things in past 2ks. - WE NEED NEW PARKS AND BRING BACK RIVAL DAY. MyPark champions should also get a new Park. I doubt 2K would ever do this but I think it would be awesome if every 1-2 months we got a new Park we could play on for a certain amount of time. Then at the end of the year around summer (when 2K normally starts to die out), we could vote every week for which parks they should bring back, sort of like LTM they have on Fortnite. - Lastly, keep the weekly events like MTN Dew and House Rules as it at least gives us something to look forward to each week. I really appreciate anyone who took the time to read all of this as I know its a lot. Like if you agreed with anything I said above and post a comment of any feedback you have. :)

Best rant ever, so far 2k19 feels a lot better let’s see what happens over time. I’m a very casual player only playing mycareer or gm mode and never online and 2k18 was trash, for a while I thought I was the only one till I started checking out more vids and sure enough nope, everyone hated it.

Each are at 90 so that means this man voluntarily bought VC to be good, nobody told him to keep on hiding himself because he’s tired of being followed. You control what you do in the end. I’ve never spent a dollar on the game, and yet I’m a 91. I grinded it out like you had to back in the old days of playing 2k. People voluntarily buy these expensive ass things.
