Until of course, Goten challenged his grandfather Bardock to a sparring match, and in the process revealed he was a super saiyan already even at his age! Now Bardock must find a way to catch up...

Honestly think that with Frieza not being in control anymore, Raditz would even be cool with everyone and be a homie. The only real reason he did any of what he did in Z was because he didn't want to be killed by frieza. Evidence of fact: he really tried to get Goku to join him because he didn't want to kill the only family he had left. But he would, for the same reason most anyone would, he wanted to live.

Ultimate required focus and maintaining Ki. However ssj2 came out of Gohan since he saw raditz and let his rage control him, leading him to power up with rage to ssj2 rather than being maintained enough to go to Ultimate.
