The white cakes are a really bad bug, unfortunately. The Sims will start compulsively making cakes, playing with clay, and future cubes till the games broke lol. To fix you have to uninstall everything, then reinstall everything but eco, then play for a bit, save, then reinstall eco but turn off neighborhood voting smfh
