I thought that too, but then he reminded us that he'd stored a bunch of his best stuff before he went fishing. If you pause at 5:20 you can see what was in his inventory before he died the first time and it isn't there. Then at 14:14 you can see it in the chest with the other stuff for the end. You need more than two levels of source blocks, you only have one source layer of water and everything underneath is flowing which is why you aren't getting treasure from the pond. I recommend adding one layer of water at a time from the bottom up

a couple things you might want to consider: 1.) having an aerial mob spawner - this would allow you to utilize the area above the base as well as prevent any mob attacks. plus you could have more mining space 2.) using beds in the end - beds explode when you click them in both the end and nether. by placing some below the dragon, you could do a lot of damage quickly and with less issues (just gotta be mindful of the blast radius) love the series and all your videos! looking forward to seeing you continue to be a military and acrobatic genius :)

kevin using the "incredibly cheap" shields for getting arrows is gonna be a better trade than burning food also kevin your pond for treasure needs to be 3 layers of source blocks, meaning you need to fill the entire layer by layer from top to bottom as you dig out the layer beneath

It's easier to add layers on top than to dig down since you can't differentiate between source and flowing water blocks while they're under water.

@@backonlazer791 except to do so you need a ceiling directly above to be able to drop a water bucket because you can't drop water in literal empty space, meaning you still have to have something above to dig up, which is easily a drown hazard. it's far easier to dig down where you dig out diagonally first, fill with water, then dig out the rest of the layer which turns all of them into source as you dig them out

You can either make a sheet of dirt for example either on top of the existing layer of water and dig away one piece at a time while walking along the edges, or you can have one block of air between the dirt layer and water and just place the water from below. In either case there is no digging while under the water involved.

Beds explode in both the nether and end (I believe when you try to use them, so always put a block up to partially protect yourself) which makes them super useful against the ender dragon

Kevin’s tactics against mobs truly make him a military genius. Also a rule you could use for the end is to find the chunk for the end portal and set up a command block teleportation system so that you would have three chunks without leaving.

Kevin, now when you have that Bootle you can make a weakness potion with fermented spider eye (spider eye + mushroom + sugar can be dropped from witches) and with it you can cure the zombie villager way WAY more easily. Btw you are an acrobatic genius🙃

@@mickys8065 He said he only wants to use things from the spawn chunk to keep in line with the series. The blaze powder to reach the end was the only anomaly from this as it is not obtainable any other way.
