Gta 4 had some neat features that I really liked like being able to pick little pieces of trash up off the ground and throw them or being able to respond to police missions in a police car

Yeah. Gta5 had a lot more activities, but felt less sandboxy. Feels like there are more physics and little details to play around with in gta4. Honestly I just wish they'd make a gta with the life sim elements that san andreas had. Like working out to get buff, or eating more to get fat, finding a girlfriend, increasing your overall likeability by dressing nicer, etc.

The bugs (weird zooms and shaking in the cutscenes, and broken AI (people stuck on doors)) are caused by too high framerate. Limiting the framerate to 60 FPS solves the issues.

I love GTA 4, it has much more realistic and dark tone, for example Nicko's quotes like "War Is Where The Young And Stupid Are Tricked By The Old And Bitter Into Killing Each Other." And when you finally find the traitor and you have to make a decision to kill him or let him live. back in the olden days i used to watch someone with the most chaotic GTA 4 videos, she would make random NPC “friends” and use the dating system to just make ridiculous dates like trying to pick someone up in a helicopter whose house is right next to a bridge over the road.. i always loved watching her because she’d disregard any and all rules of the games she played, pick out weird ones she found browsing steam, and play everything wrong because the chaos that ensued made her laugh hysterically. when i think GTA IV i think of pure chaos. she stopped posting as often a while back now and when i found kevin it felt like breathing fresh air, seeing a game played not as intended but so creatively for the first time in years. filled a void. not 14 years though that can’t be right i’m still young i’m still young

This game and I have a long history. I would pick it up, play a quarter to half of the story, drop it for months, and come back forgetting EVERYTHING so I'd have to start the story over many timmes. But it never really bothered me because it was such a great and ICONIC game. So many fond memories, and I was even thinking about picking it up just yesterday! I'm so glad to get to see Kevin play this game. Great vid!

IMO, I prefer GTA 4 over GTA V. It has a interesting story, detailed and immersive world, side missions, activites to do such as bowling, dating, becoming a vigilante and the characters are memorable and well written.

Y’know, I just realized that there’s now Lo-fi music in the background of Kevin’s vid.
