Kevin a tip for next time is that Hostile Mobs don’t despawn when they are in boats. That is why the witch has stayed all this time, it was in a boat. If you hadn’t put it in a boat at the end of this episode it would have despawned before the next episode. Also don’t worry about the zombie villager being killed by the witch, they are immune to all its other attacks except weakness.

I like how Kevin tried to fix his treasure pool by building it exactly the same way, but worse.
@JoelkPoelk2 жыл бұрын
Some notes on fishing for treasure: The bottom level of water also needs to be source blocks. This means not just placing the top and digging out, but also filling out the lower layer. The torches were obstructing some of your open area. You need to have two empty blocks above the water. Having it open to the surface can reduce the fishing time, but doesn't affect treasure.
@hunterhicks67262 жыл бұрын
About the fishing pond: In order to get treasure (treasure is: bow, enchanted book, name tag, nautilus shell, and saddle. A fishing rod is technically treasure but is also classified as junk so it’s not a good indicator) the entire thing has to be source blocks of water. With the way water works in modern Minecraft, only the top layer of the pond is source blocks. The easiest way to tell if you have source blocks or not is to drop items in that layer (or dig directly below the block you want to test). Items will always float to the top in source blocks but if they sink, that means that the source is just flowing into that block and is not actually a source block. What this means is that artificial ponds have to be made layer by layer, which only makes them more painful to build. As always, love the series oh great military genius.

if you haven't figured it out already; you need both layers of a treasure fishing pond to be full source blocks to get treasure edit for clarity; placing a layer of source blocks and then destroying the layer below does not make source blocks, it makes falling water. If you press f3, you should be able to see whether a block of water is falling or not by looking at one (liquid information shows up on the right). If you are in water when doing this, the f3 screen will give you data on the block that your head is in, so swim whilst sprinting to check the bottom layer.
@SoggyCoffeeAddict2 жыл бұрын
But didn't he already get treasure? He said that he got fish, lilypads, but then he got that golden armor piece
@dat_fast_boi2 жыл бұрын
@@SoggyCoffeeAddict you can't get gold armour from fishing, it's not in any of the lootables. The only armour you can get is a pair of leather boots, which are in the junk lootable iirc. For the fishing: the water needs sky access (longer wait time otherwise). Also you need the bobber to have 5×4×5 water SOURCE blocks under it. A tip for the zombie villagers: You can keep them from despawning by either putting them in a boat, nametagging them, or dropping an item on the ground and having them pick it up. Kevin, you literally filled in that pond in the most tedious way possible. You can put water down every two blocks and it'll flatten out. Also, if it was entirely open at first, you could've just filled in every two rows and it would fill in completely quite quickly.

If Kevin ever cures a zombie villager, I think he should reward himself with a third chunk. It would be quite the accomplishment.

Kevin: shows respect to farmers. Me, daughter of a farmer: happiness noises. Kevin: complains that fishing is boring. Me, someone who enjoys fishing: sadness noises

I love how often Kevin uploads these and how energetic he seems every time :) it’s nice watching him play something he genuinely enjoys. Thank you for lighting all our days up again, Kevin! ❤️
