I thought it was really interesting your clothing choices for Ending A and B. Ending A, Franklin's dressed exactly like Michael. They were both willing to sellout their friends for protection and safety of the people important to them (and themselves). Ending B, Franklin's dressed exactly as we first met him -- showing that he's stuck in his old ways and wants to go back to before. Much like Trevor. Maybe I'm looking too much into it, but I thought that was a nice detail.

I like how each ending represents something: Killing Trevor just proves that Michael and Franklin care about themselves. Michael himself doesn’t hesitate but Franklin does, it’s the most realistic but it really shows how little Michael cares about Trevor especially since Trevor came back for him to settle the score, and Franklin kept trying to keep peace between them. Killing Michael represents the cycle repeating itself. Franklin kills Michael since Devin promises money and Franklin getting involved with a criminal led to him getting in knots with the government, putting Lamar, Tanisha, and Denise at risk. Even though he doesn’t have much respect nor Vice versa for them, he still sees them as family so he kills Michael to keep him safe. Trevor understands the value of loyalty, and says that him and Michael deserve each other. So Franklin essentially becomes Michael. He will also tell Lamar the same quote Michael told him earlier about having to make hard choices for the better. But what I don’t like about this ending is that it seems out of character for Franklin since he looks up to Michael who also sees him as a second son. Michael is finally happy with his life as he reestablished a relationship with his family. Franklin also tells Michael that he “used” him which is completely untrue, as Michael always tried his best to keep Franklin out of it, but he was too loyal to do that. Michael is a terrible person, but having Franklin kill him just doesn’t sit right. Ending C is Eliminating loose ends. It’s actually a good ending for everyone. Franklin announces his loyalty and tells Lamar about the situation who praises him for caring about his homies. Lamar himself also decides to help after realizing how much he had been arrogant and selfish before being rescued, and saw how Franklin was dealing with the FIB. Franklin tells if either Michael or Trevor can’t get along, he’ll kill them both. So he really puts his foot down. Devin and Steve send their goons after Michael and Trevor. They all fend them off and do each other favors, killing the next man they have beef. Franklin kills Wei Cheng who was bothering Trevor, Michael kills Stretch who was bothering Franklin, and Trevor kills Steve who was bothering Michael. Then the three push Devin off a cliff, who screwed over all of them. Michael admits he’s an asshole to Trevor and has a healthy relationship with his family. Franklin finally let’s go of Tanisha and Denise. Trevor sets out for a life outside of illegal businesses. Lamar decides to make better choices and follow the same path as Franklin in legitimate business. Dave wishes Michael good luck and tells Trevor he’ll keep them out of trouble. Merryweather loses clearance in America, so they won’t be back.

Smuggler’s Run, which takes place in 2017, Ron says that Trevor abandoned the business and is a lifestyle coach or something like that in Los Santos. Franklin didn’t get back with Tanisha until years after the story mode ended, at the end of the story mode, she calls Franklin and tells him she’s getting married and he should keep pushing for a better life. I think Rockstar just got them back together because they ran out of ideas in 2021. They’ve been pretty lazy and unoriginal in recent years by ruining what was a good ending.

It says more about the reasons you're trying to kill each person. If you choose Trevor, it's at least partially because the guy is a lunatic who arguably needs to be put down before he just loses it and kills you and everyone else around him (look what happened to Floyd as an example), and that is something Michael 100% agrees with, even if he wouldn't try to do it alone. Killing Michael is literally just for the money you get out of it. Maybe you could rationalize it, but Trevor can't.

Ending A, Trevor is so heartbroken by your betrayal he refuses to fight back and Michael is in total shock after his death, almost as if he didn't expect his death and wanted Trevor to flee somehow and survive but get out of his life. After Trevor's death, Michael keeps making excuses about letting his best friend die, he went through a total breakdown. Michael obviously loved him but didn't want him to ruin his life like he would've. Ending B, Franklin sees that Michael's life improved in every way possible but is convinced that this is the only option. Michael is saddened and angered by this and tries to kill you off but it seems almost as if he's purposefully trying to miss just to scare Franklin off. He doesn't want to kill him, Franklin however is convinced that he wants to. He's convinced that Michael only used him and punches him multiple times before pushing him off, immediately regretting his choice. When Michael falls, he hits up with Lamar, something he would never do. He has realized he killed off his true friend and wants to preserve his last one. Ending C, the three just kill everyone and it's happily ever after.

For people who doesn’t understand Michael’s death if you try to save him. Franklin will try to save Michael. As you know, Michael will hit Franklin’s face with his head and dies by fall. The fact that Michael died this way, makes a lot of sense because he didn’t die by himself stupidly, but because of anger. He got so much mad at Franklin because he betrayed him, he died because he was blinded by anger and rage. And you know how you feel when you’re blinded because of anger, fear, sadness, excitement, etc.

I just don't understand why Franklin would kill his mentor or close friend, immediately after robbing a bank with both of them. :p Even with the pressure coming from all the different faction, I would assume he'd warn them about it and try to make a run for it with the money or something. I guess I could somewhat understand the "Kill Trevor" option but, like I said before, it just doesn't seem like Franklin would just betray these guys after going through so much with them. Great game though, really satisfying endings were offered. I see the Kill Trevor option as a darker alternate option. (Reminds me a lot of GTA IV's darker endings)

You know, watching all these endings really makes me dislike Michael a bit, and like Trevor a bit more. In killing Trevor, he really didn't want to hurt neither Franklin nor Michael. Michael had zero issues killing Trevor. I know that Trevor isn't completely innocent here and almost got Michael killed earlier in the game, but he wasn't thinking rationally during that. Michael was completely aware and in a normal state of mind when he decided to help take out Trevor. Killing Michael was a bit hard to watch, especially when only a few minutes earlier his wife called him and he was telling Franklin about how good his life has been lately. However in this ending Michael had zero issues shooting at Franklin, which was something Trevor didn't do. After killing Michael, Trevor cut off all ties with Franklin and made it very clear he doesn't like him anymore. Even in the third ending at 19:00 , you see that Trevor didn't have issues lowering his gun when Franklin came, as if he was trying to disengage his fight with Michael, but only fully lifted it back up when he realized Michael was still pointing right at him. Trevor didn't even actually have his finger on the trigger.

I couldn't kill Michael or Trevor. I will forever pick option C. If you kill one of them what's the point of the game? Michael has a family, Trevor is the honest character. I've grown too love all the characters in their own psychotic ways haha.

i like how in the last ending trevor doesnt really complain or even show in his body language that he's at all bothered that he was just left thete and neither of the guys offered to give him a ride or anything. he just starts walking without really stopping to even think about it

Finished the game today for the first time. I just could not bring myself to kill Trevor. He was the most loyal friend out of all of them and easily the most fun to play as. Seeing the ending he could have got with option A breaks my heart. I couldn’t kill Michael because it would make zero sense for Franklin to do that to him after all he did for him. Option C was so satisfying! Especially taking out Steve and Devin. Will definitely play through again but will choose option C again.
