Actually, it feels so similar to HTTYD, Hiccup is the first Viking to train and befriend a dragon and ride it, because of Toothless Hiccup started ti believe in himself. Callum is the first human to become a Primal Mage and cuz of the magic he gains confidence too. Astrid is a warrior who is softened by Hiccup (basically), and the same goes for Rayla. Coincidence, I think not 😂😂😂

Aside from Rayla's confidence in making the first moves with kissing and hugging him it was always wholesome and heartfelt for me to see, and she's progressed a lot by allowing herself to be more vulnerable with Callum. Between them it's so cute the way he has to hug her tighter and bury his head into her. The progression of Callum's confidence in himself, towards magic, and his relationship with Rayla is amazing.
