I feel like my heart is not pumping as fast or as hard after doing this. Thank you! Also, your TEDx was pretty much life changing for me. I should say was/is because I'm sure I'll be watching it again multiple times.

Thanks a lot! This helped me so much, instantly calmed my racing mind. Even if only for a moment now. It’s crazy to think we’ve always had this ability within us we just didn’t know it yet.

Thank you soo much Tim. You've helped me heal and get the other side of anxiety, something I never imagined I could do after struggling with it for 12 years and today you made that healing stronger, yet again, with another phenomenal video. You're a savior and Thank God for your existence. You're doing one of THE most amazing things for mankind so please keep helping more people like me with your videos.

Isn't this a form of coping strategy though? Doesn't this tell our brain that anxiety is something we need to distract ourself from instead of embracing head on?

It's a way of reminding the mind that you are in control of your own thoughts. I agree that coping strategies and psychological tools potentially just reinforce the idea that anxiety is something that needs to be 'coped' with. However, in this instance the aim is to reinforce the idea of being in control of the way we think and feel no matter what potential challenges we might be facing at the time.
