Hallo Saskia, ich freue mich immer auf ein neues Video von dir, so schön und entspannend. Einige von deinen Rezepten habe ich auch schon ausprobiert und deine Pflanzen im Garten und in deinem Haus sind so schön. Wie schön, dass dein Baby bald zur Welt kommt. Bei uns ist es üblich im Krankenhaus zu entbinden, ich kenne nur eine Hausgeburt. Ich war auch im Krankenhaus und das war für mich die richtige Entscheidung und ich habe mich auch wohl gefühlt dort. Here in the USA, it is common to give birth in hospital. Some women choose to do it at home, but it is not common. Being in the hospital gave me a feeling of safety and good care. Hospitals make the atmosphere very cozy and homey for birthing. I did not receive an epidural. I did have a mild sedative to help manage the pain. I too was afraid of giving birth, but once things start and you are in active labor, all thoughts of fear disappear and you just do what you have to do. The end result is that wonderful human that you and hubby created will be in your arms -- and your life will never be the same again. The love you will feel will be immense and never-ending. The most wonderful experience of your entire life.

Ciao Saskia! In Italia i parti avvengono in ospedale, ma fin verso gli anni 70, avvenivano anche a casa (io e mio fratello siamo nati in casa).... Partorire è doloroso ma appena nasce scompare tutto..... Io in un anno ho fatto due bambini uno nel 1988 e il secondo nel 1989..... Ricordati che noi donne siamo forti!!!! Un bacione ❤ PS: anch'io ho dovuto installare la gattaiola per non tenere la finestra aperta.... I gatti sono terribili 😂😂

Love the shades of colors in your videos! In Jordan, I don't think the system is pro with giving birth at home, but not pretty sure! However, personally I find it a very brave move to go with the home option ... wish you a beautiful experience at the hospital 😺

В Україні не практикують пологи вдома - дуже рідко - задля безпеки. Чудесний лаз-будиночок для котів!!! Ти дуже креативно і колоритно готуєш їжу!!❤

Moc hezké video….užívejte si a než epidural tak se raději připravte psychicky a duševně,že to bude bolet je to prostě porod,pokud nejsou komplikace tak raději přirozeně,vše ostatní má i vedlejší účinky a moc to nepomůže!A rajský plyn už vůbec ne!Z celého srdce vám přeji ať vše dopadne dobře!Velmi důležité je také prostředí porodnice…..a kočky jsou překrásné♥️♥️♥️🎄

Hallo Saskia, liebe Grüße von einer Erlangerin. Danke für deine wundervollen Vlogs. Bezüglich deiner Frage scheint es so, dass in Deutschland die Hausgeburten häufiger werden. Ich hatte für die Geburt meines Kindes ein Geburtshaus überlegt. Es wurde dann aber nach einer Risikenbewertung doch das Krankenhaus.

Hi Eve! Thank you for your kind comment! ❤When we got the cats i gave away half of my plants as these were poisonous for cats and I placed cat grass at two locations. So far I've been lucky that they've left my other plants mostly alone. Have a lovely weekend! 🤗

Hi Karen, the cats are learning that they have to push. They were first trying to pull it towards them with their nails, which is indeed difficult with the magnets holding the door shut (and the cold air outside). The recommendation is to lift the door a bit with tape until hey have gotten used to it. Franky has already figured it out after 5 days. Koos is a little bit more careful, but I'm confident he will get the hang of it as well.

En France il est exceptionnel d'accoucher à la maison ; je ne connais personne qui l'a fait ni entendu parlé autour de moi. Nous nous sentons en sécurité à l'hôpital ou la clinique qui peut agir avec du matériel adapté en cas de besoin de réanimation par exemple ou des complications à l'expulsion. J'ai eu 5 enfants et j'ai juste eu 1 péridurale et j'aurais voulu l'avoir à chaque fois. J'avais aussi un peu peut et j'ai pensé à toutes les femmes avant moi pour me calmer 😅 et bien sûr, j'ai pu le faire à mon tour sans problème ☺️ c'est si merveilleux de découvrir ce petit être qui s'est fabriqué en nous. Je vous souhaite le meilleur pour ces moments merveilleux ❤

What an exciting time. I have four kids and only had them at the hospital. Here in the United States, at least where I am in California, most people give birth in the hospital. When I had my kids it wasn’t even presented to me that I could have it at home but it seems like it would have been less stressful. How far are you from the hospital? If you tried a home birth would it be very difficult to get to the hospital if you decided you wanted to go there instead?

Thank you for sharing!❤ I live 15 minutes driving from the hospital, which is not too far. If all goes well my midwife and my nursing help will support me in the hospital, so it's not all strangers (in the Netherlands you get a couple of hours of help each day at home for the first 2 weeks help you get started with taking care of the baby)

Di a luz a mis hijos en una clínica privada y con epidural , todo fue perfecto . Soy hija de médico pediatra y siempre recomendó ir al hospital por si tú o tu hijo tuvieran alguna complicación al nacer . Espero que todo te vaya muy bien . En mi país no es nada habitual dar a luz en casa , diría que muy poca gente lo hace , yo no he conocido a nadie . Saludos desde Gran Canaria en España .
