Berserker who almost entirely solo'ed scav war on night 9, has every debuff known to man except broken leg, climbs on tower with his teammates around him, slowly dying to artery bleeding, as they barely had any resources becouse of novice. This literally happened to me- I was berserker and I was answering a S.O.S call from the DW Discord server and as soon as I joined I looked around: only one of the other 3 people was alive, and he was afk. So I picked up the convenient Riot Guard Labs stim and Fireier axe, I protected the guy and survived at 1 Hp. We went on to lose wave 10 sadly, as nobody chose to respawn except a new player on Zealot.

The last drifter of his wave nowhere to go since the safe zone was overrun, he’d stumble across a guitar in the gallery. Thinking to himself he said “sure, might as well take it.” Though upon reaching the top of the tower after a heavy fight leaving him for dead he found a person. After handing the remains of his supplies to said person so they’re not wasted the person began to play a song with the guitar. Giving the drifter his last few moments the most peaceful they could’ve been. The song turning the Decaying winter around them into a calm and forgiving one, peaceful enough to leave the land with no regrets, and to move on to survive for the ones we’ve already lost.

decaying winter in roblox has always seemed like a strange case to me in one hand the game is super unforgiving and every mistake can lead to a loss, mainly because of the moral mechanic but in the other hand it sets you up in a really intersting world and it has some really chill music when you would expect nothing but rock or breakcore (btw this entire comment is a reference to the start of the video "What it weapons reskins were different" or something by the tf2 youtuber Great Blue) fun fact: i started watching this just after the 10 hour version

The apostle-one who retreated from Reikgon's grasp-retracted Theourgia's Hand, his shadow hunters laid dead on the floor, no longer having his power course through their corpses. The damned-the prisoner, the one who should've died, the one whose only reason for being sent here was to perish-collapsed from the struggle, her compound bow hitting the ground. Though they all came from different backgrounds, lived vastly different stories; one thing between them all remained; all of them should've died, the chances of all of them living should've been zero. Yet, despite the raids of the scavengers, the shadows of Reikgon, and the raiders of someone who was once perhaps was a former agent; they persisted. For 6 nights, a guitar had laid leaning to the crate; they thought no use would've come of it, for oft were they out scavenging for materials and eliminating scavengers for rations. The prophet came to it, picking it up as she strummed a chord. "...Don't think the storm's gonna die out soon, so why not have a song?" "I've heard you sing before, don't think we'll settle for the worst singer in the world just because we had a victory." Retorted the apostle, walking over to the pool of items on the floor, picking up a first aid kit as he used it on himself. "I mean-no-I didn't mean me singing! I took some guitar lessons as a kid, hopefully I'll still have the muscle memory in me." The prophet responded to him, as she sat down on the hard concrete floor, her back faced against the storm. "Gather 'round kids, today I'll be giving some entertainment!" The artillerist walked over, holstering her revolver as she spoke. "Most of us are older than you, don't be callin' us kids." She pulled her Koldera Black out of her mouth before she spoke, and then she put it right back in. The damned crawled over, she was starved for many long nights, but just managed to get over there. She groaned before her words came out of her mouth, and it had resulted in a barely intelligible cheer. The berserker sat down, his back leaning onto the crate. "Well, thankfully you atleast got some guitar lessons; didn't think you did, considering your singing skills." The prophet immediately responded back as the apostle silently sat down near her. "Hey! She pointed a middle finger at him, which resulted in the berserker responding back with one of his own without a single second of hesitaiton; a few seconds had passed, before the prophet returned back to how she was. "Well, we don't have any wine to celebrate with; and don't dare suggest ulaycola as an alternative, tastes like battery acid." "It *is* battery acid." The apostle spoke to the prophet after what she had proclaimed. The prophet grabbed five aquafill bottles from her AGENT container-one that was kept in a nice condition-before throwing four towards the agents; even the one whose only purpose here was to die. "Drink up! And just pretend the water is wine!" She took opened up the cap as the others did too, they all took a long sip of the bottle; save for the damned, as she was still slumped across the floor. The prophet then got the guitar into position, her hands hovered over the chords as her mind attempted to remember how to play-before she strummed the guitar. The night was calm, even if it was only for a few minutes. [Ending transmission; playback complete]
