Guys I almost hate to say it but, life was "so much better" back then because we were KIDS. When you're a kid, everything is magical. My brother has 4 kids and they are experiencing the world exactly as I did when I was that age. It has very little to do with the actual state of the world at the time and more to do with the fact that you are just nostalgic for being younger, where your only responsibility was to experience life. As we get older, we have the same experiences over and over throughout life and they start to lose their luster, but when we're kids and experiencing everything for the first time it's pure magic. If being a kid for you was 20, 30, or even 40+ years ago, don't squander the time you have RIGHT NOW thinking the best days are behind you; make new memories that you can look back on 20, 30, or even 40+ years from now...
