So in a way, calories do matter. As in order to lose weight we are eating low calorie foods in high volume to feel satiated as you stated. Which we are still being mindful about our calorie intake. Unfortunately, my body does not tell me I’m full until I feel really bloated. I tend to binge eat. When I count my calories im able to limit my self but still feel great because I ate within my calories and it was a lot of food!

Calories always matter. You might want to look at possible food addictions or your unhealthy relashionship with food.

Just found your channel, love the starch videos, keep them coming! I started in December and lost and kept off 13 pounds so far with not being 100 percent. Like you, it's the first time I've ever lost and kept off weight through Christmas. Love your inspiration!

I absolutely agree, even when I stray away eating something else my body almost calls me back to eating this way because it is so satisfying and nourishing. @@kimberlyf5168 Yes I've had the same experience as well, the body calls you back toward fresh, bright, vibrant food again! Isn't it remarkable what happens when we simply listen to what the body tells us! I am so grateful you are enjoying my videos, I am definitely planning to film a "what I eat in a day" and some more progress. It's really motivating me to keep going with my own wellness journey too! And thank about my skin, that's very sweet of you, I do find that this style of eating has improved my skin quite a lot!

3 to 4 pound. Is it cooked or raw. For example I could eat 4 pounds of cooked potatoes.

Sarah Rashid good question! I assume raw because cooking can take some of the water out, for example if you baked potato pieces.

Thanks for the reply. Now I know that calories are not important, still if you were to count your calories a day how many calories do you approximately eat. chief Aj said in one her interviews that she eats 1900 calories a day: 2 pounds of non starch vegetables, 1 pound of fruit, and 3 pounds of potatoes. Want to try this, yet scares to gain weight. Wondering what is your opinion on this?

Sarah Rashid don’t be afraid, I think it’s ok to give yourself 2 or 3 weeks to try it and see how you feel. I don’t quite know how many calories I eat, it varies because if I’m more active I just get more hungry. And if I’m more still then I don’t seem to need as much. Have you given it a try?
