Caloundra Dicky Beach flyover with surfers

Quick flyover Dicky Beach at Caloundra QLD Australia Sunshine Coast. Absolutely perfect weather here today with very little wind and a lovely temperature. At the start of the flight I had an aborted takeoff due to the instability of the drone that I placed on the hill. No damage and all I had to do was clean off the blades with a KFC wipe. Shot on DJI Phantom 4 drone at 4K.

Thisi is great, but not Dicky Beach. Its from Moffatt Headland, Caloundra, Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia. The surf riders are off Moffatt Beach. Dicky Beach is further north, beyond the distant tall Norfolk Island pines and is named for the wreck of SS Dicky. Pandanus Pines on Moffatt Headland , seen on cliff edge here, reputedly fed shipwrecked sailors in the early colonial period. Allways a great view from here, including large ships coming into the Port of Brisbane, as they take on pilots to navigate Moreton Bay to the mouth of the Brisbane River, and of course surfers. 13aug19
