The Calumet Colosseum is the oldest still in use operating ice arena in the United States dating back to when hockey was introduced in the UP and the United States as well.

Hello...What where the building ruins when they were in use ? My Family history DATES back to the 1870's,-1920's up in Calumet.. The Szatkowski and Fournier Families. They all moved down to Detroit when the mines went on strike in the early 1900's.
