It’s understandable that some have strong feelings about the changes, but we must remember that the church ultimately belongs to the Lord, not to men. In 1 Corinthians 3:11, Paul reminds us, "For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." The foundation of any church is Christ, not a pastor or a building. Pastor Steve, as great as he was, would likely have wanted us to keep our focus on God and not on earthly leadership. Psalm 127:1 also says, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." It is the Lord’s work that sustains this church, not the name on the building or who stands at the pulpit. Let's keep our hearts aligned with Christ, who is the true Head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22-23). We should pray for the current leadership( They are doing a great job allowing God to lead) as we continue the work of loving and serving in the way Jesus has taught us. By the Way. I Love this New name, it reminds me of the life JesusChrist wants Us to live.... Lets Live Life Together!!!

If any of you truly know pastor Chet and his story, you would know he has nothing but the best intentions. This man really really loves Jesus. He has been persecuted, ridiculed and hunted down to quite literally be killed for spreading the love and the word of the gospel, and the name of Jesus Christ. And after every single service he is there to meet with us and talk with us one one. He knows his congregation by name. He is very personable and I believe he is the best person fit for this role at this time. Thank you Pastor Chet, God Bless you and your family always. we love you!!!!

I keep asking the question of affiliation? Are they CCA or CGN? I get no answer. To get an answer, someone sent me this video. I seen it before it was sent to me. "keeping our history" does not answer my question directly. If it's neither...cool! Then I know they are not calvary chapel but "calvary life" cool. The they are "independent." Cool then. Also, are they still keeping the distinctives?? Can someone answer my question directly and straight?

How can you say God said change the name? Do you honestly believe God cares about a name. This world is changing and not in a good way. Changing the name doesn’t make one want to learn. Whoever said that Calvary was a social club? Your Church also allows men to go into women’s bathrooms!! That’s nuts! I’m sorry but I disagree whole heartedly!!

That’s because this church is no longer a true church like it was with our beloved Pastor Steve. Is ashamed this guy even changed the name of the church! He should go to another building and call it whatever he wants. He doesn’t belong inside this church! This building was the vision of pastor Steve. He and his group of people built this church building from the ground up! They don’t even mention Pastor Steve on his passing anniversary.🥲

That’s not true. You said you’ve only attended twice so how would you know what he has and has not prayed for? I have attended almost every single week for over a year and we have prayed for Israel many times. He’s talked about it with us many times. We stand with the nation of Israel and We didn’t only pray for Israel we prayed for EVERYONE on all sides.

who cares about a name either way, teaching the Word simply still hasn't solved many bibilical issues that still continue to plague Christianity, instead of a name, try to get more scriptural than you are now
