Watch Out For Fakes! - 2 Peter 2:1-14 - Skip Heitzig

Counterfeiting has become a multibillion-dollar industry that extends all around the world. Fake jewelry, fake purses, fake paintings, and, yes, even fake medicines are sold as if they’re the genuine articles, when they are cheap (though amazingly real-looking) imitations. It’s the same when it comes to truth. What makes a false teacher of false teaching? Peter gave three recommendations in dealing with such counterfeits.

Good solid teaching, consider demons and fallen angels are not the same, genesis 6 of angels and women give birth to giants who Peter and Jude are referring to. They were watchers, just something to deepen your understanding. God bless this ministry!

Counterfeits believers, false teachers/prophets and fake pastors/preachers are on the increase in these last days! 1 Timothy 4 v 1... The Spirit clearly says that in later times, some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons!!! Preaching another Jesus, another gospel, another spirit 2 Corinthians 11:4 sheep vs goats wheat vs weeds ...very subtle! Be grounded in God's Word! Be spiritually discerning!

Hillsong and Bethel use their music to infiltrate 'weak on the word ' churches. Then they bring in their false teachings. They introduce it a little at a time. " a little leaven , leavens the whole lump". I pray that worship leaders would do their homework, and listen to these false teachers preach in their own venues, before allowing satan to get his foot in the door with the music. Remember, satan appears as an " angel of light, and his ministers as ministers of righteousness ", .In the same way the music may sound lovely and good. But ultimately " a rotten tree cannot bare good fruit".

Im wondering if there any teachings from skip on christians prophesying over other Christians. And what we should look out for as “red flags” et cetera! There are so many preachers who are false and easy to spot because there teachings contradict Gods word but then there are those who’s teachings seem in line with the bible but 90 plus percent of there ministries are based on getting “prophetic words” for people and dreams! God communicates with me through dreams but that’s personal for me! And I just can’t help but feel that the rush of emotion that comes from potential commutation with the Lord that’s so passionate with being a new believer, that so many Christians old and new chase it “the in love” feeling and it can also be dangerous! Haven’t found any of skips teaching yet on what type of communication from God we should accept. Sorry that’s a bit long, I hope use can see the questions in there lol it just seem’s that so many preachers seem GOOD and “sincere” with there prophecies and vision’s but the road to hell is paved with good intentions!

In agreement with this whole message I loosen the word of 2 peter 2:1-14, 2 corinthians 6:14-15, matthew 6:24, 1 john 3:10 to bind every cursed child of the devil to the pit of hell, while I and the body of Christ will not be unequally yoked with and have any common share with any evildoer serving satan, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

Would you have a problem if Jesus were preaching and teaching in a tunic and sandals? Is Pastor Skip telling the truth with integrity? As long as he does, what does it matter what he wears?!! Are you learning biblical sound doctrine? Then what does it matter if he wears jeans and a tshirt?!! If you came from Catholic or Lutheran etc.. formal churches I can understand your question, however, if you know the history of Calvary Chapel then you know they have always been informal casual. Its about the word penetrating your interior 'spirit' not the outward appearance!

The Only ones that can meet Jesus Christ in mid air are children stop giving him money and help these that need you STOP worshiping the man and worship JESUS CHRIST I promise you will feel better you can buy heaven, the battle is already won
