I really like the fact Jesus recommissioned Peter even after he had denied him three times. Thank you for an excellent Bible Study!

I understand where you are coming from in regards to the term "cheap grace". I first came across the term when I read "Cost of Discipleship". However, I do not believe to most the term is used to cheapen what Jesus did for us on the cross. Rather, I think it is used to demonstrate just the opposite. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we should see the price He paid and the love He displayed. Because of that love, the remainder of our life should have purpose. That purpose should be to love God and His Son with our whole heart and to serve Him and man through the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit. That purpose for Christians is Disciple-making. We must be intentional about it. It has nothing to do with a works-based salvation, but that we love Him so much that the fruits of the spirit that follow are an outpouring of the relationship we have with Him. Thank-you for all you do.

If Mathew wasn't one of the disciples that were with Jesus when he prayed and the others fell asleep how do they know what he prayed?
