The problem with Newer Bibles are that Verses are removed or changed. Are you saying all the manuscripts were not available when The King James was Written? They just showed up centuries later?

I really appreciated this... There is only two Bibles that I just don't rely on and that is the NLT and the NIV.... I have the new King James version and the King James version and the NASB, the NASB is the one I read the most... But this was really informative, I'm grateful

Thank you for addressing my question pastor Brian. To be honest, I did not even know there was a thing called King James only until just the other day, I always thought people were just quoting half the verse, not knowing there are actual translations that only has that part of the verse, in fact you have just made me aware of this, thank you. Nevertheless, I suppose it’s one’s personal preference to select which sword you want to fight the enemy with, yikes now I sound like King James himself 🗡️ 😅. All peace this side Pastor Brian - no form of challenge from my side. I thoroughly enjoy your ministry. May the LORD bless you ✝️💟

Just to be clear regarding my comments, I in no way identify with Replacement Theology. I was however seeking to identify God's ultimate plan for Israel. Abraham was shown the true Promised Land yet future and a glorious city built by the very hand of God. As believers we too will share in this glorious promise.
@TheWatchmansPost39295 ай бұрын
This passage reminds me of the fact detailed in Hebrews 11 how that Abraham in reality was looking for a city and a land not fashioned by human hand but by God. John the Apostle details the New Jerusalem coming out of Heaven in Revelation 21 as well as the New Heaven and New Earth.

Another question? Are you saying There's No Trinity?
@HarleyManRob5 ай бұрын
Because the part you’re referring to was not in the original manuscripts. That is per many biblical scholars.

Under conditions of an everlasting covenant we can assume that the current Land of Israel is only part of the ultimate fulfillment identified in Hebrews 11, Revelation chapters 20 & 21.

I used to be a KJV only person, But will read other translations now, mainly because in some passages of scripture its hard to understand what the passage means, and is clearer in some newer translations, But i still use my kjv as my main template of scripture to go by. Ps. Ive seen the fruit of a lot of KJV only Christianity and its not good.

So God allowed us for centuries to rely on an English translation as the "word of God" only to give us updated versions of his word later in history.
@CalvaryChapelFranklin5 ай бұрын
…and a Latin version (Vulgate) before that, and ultimately Greek at the first
@deanbrown14075 ай бұрын
@@CalvaryChapelFranklin Yeah, I count the Greek (of course), but I have to have faith that the Lord gave us the perfect word of God for all these centuries. It seems that two versions that are different from one another can't both be correct. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.
@CalvaryChapelFranklin5 ай бұрын
@@deanbrown1407 I can appreciate that. The question though comes down to how God chose to preserve the Word through the centuries. It would appear that He did so through the providing of a rich manuscript tradition. The later discoveries have not really changed the history or theology, but most often confirmed, and in some cases clarified various passages. But again, never is such a way as to change things in any doctrinal way

Genesis 12:3 also coincides with Galations 3:6-9 in identifying the blessings promised to those of the Seed of Faith. For it is by Faith in Christ that all the families of the earth are blessed. To apply blessings to those in rebellion against God that divide the Land for gain, dance before idols in the desert, and parade abominations in Jerusalem, goes against the clear teaching of the scriptures. The Seed of Promise is of Faith and so the Lord God will yet choose a remnant from Israel.
@bugsocsollie16945 ай бұрын
Actually both Israel and the Body of Christ Church are Abraham's seed by faith, but the whole world will be blessed through Israel. Not through the Body of Christ Church.

Regardless of if 8:1b belongs, the teaching is also in 8:4. I personally believe it is part of God's Word and the idea it teaches, but, 8:4 still teaches the idea that believers can actually walk after the flesh and not by the Spirit and walking after the flesh is not profitable for ourselves or the brethren. The Church is teaching these days that walking after the Spirit is just being a believer and not teaching believers how to walk after the Spirit. Or, the church is teaching that if you are walking after the fleah you will somehow ve un-born again or maybe never really believed. License to sin🤣😂, I do not recommend it at all. C'mon man, if you're walking after the flesh you are not reading your Bible and learning about your Saviour and will suffer unnecessarily because no one taught you that walking after the Spirit is feeding on the Bread of Life.
@BingoNamo-gb8pz3 ай бұрын
Walking after the Spirit IS just being a believer. There is NO other way to walk by the Spirit than by faith. “Having begun by the Spirit are you now being perfected by the flesh? Does God supply the Spirit & work miracles among you by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith?” Walking by the Spirit means you believe what God says about you no matter what you see or know about yourself according to the flesh. Walking by the flesh is believing you & others around you are what you see in the flesh. “I am determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ & Him crucified.” “We regard no one according to the flesh. We once regarded Christ according to the flesh but we regard Him thus no longer.”
