I follow Pastor Paul’s Sermons daily as I read my Bible in Chronological order. He has so many messages! On the rare occasion that I search for a Bible verse that he has not made a sermon on yet I’m so sad so please please please keep making these. Some days i listen to messages from 8 years ago and I listened to messages that were 3 days old posted. I love them all and gain so much understanding from them. I share them with friends and it is a blessing to me and so many others too! Please keep making these!!!

Jesus' command is much more challenging than the other statements. It is simple to not be mean but if you want respect, respect others. If you want people to love you, love people. If you want help in your time of need, be charitable. That is a challenging state of the heart. Especially in these times and with the me-first philosophy that the world teaches.

Matthew 7:13-14 is what started my walk with Jesus eleven years ago. When I heard it, it SHOCKED me. I thought about it for the longest time. I didn’t want to believe it. But there were the words in black and white. There was no interpreting it any other way. It was the hard truth that I had to know.

I was a kid in the late 60s into 70s , I bet though that very few or no Christians wrote songs about love pointing people to Christ as the source of Love. That's a fundamental problem too often we leave the unsaved to define these most critical areas of life.

The way has to be hard because that is how the stuff that has grown hard in us is broken up, the stuff that quick dries us in carnal delight ❤❤❤

As I’m going through Matthew with Pastor Pauls amazing series, I am also reading Spurgeons commentaries on Matthew. I swear, he must have read these commentaries to structure his sermons. I’m not complaining because Pastor Paul does an amazing job on elaborating Spurgeon’s comments. You might want to read Spurgeon’s commentaries as a supplement because they really serve as a sort of Cliff Notes version on his sermons.

You have to turn them on and off yourself in the youtube app. Tap the screen so the play button shows up. On the top right of the screen there is a gear then a box with CC in it. Push the CC and you will get closed captioning

Hello, is someone who is a Christian, but does not follow Jesus a real Christian? I believe that I am saved, but I do not always listen to the Holy Spirit. Sometimes I choose sin I do not repent for my sins. Can a Christian be saved and live for the world? I truly believe in Jesus, but I do not want to give up everything for him. I think discipleship is hard. But is discipleship an evidence that someone is saved? There is a Lordship salvation controversy and I do not know what to believe because every Christian pastor says something different. Can you please answer to that?

I think you are a Christian which means a follower of Jesus Christ otherwise why would you care about everything you just said. A non- believer wouldn’t ever ask these questions, they wouldn’t feel sorry, they would just sin with no remorse what so ever. It does take time to be obedient, it takes praying daily, repenting before each prayer and studying Gods Word and then you can still mess up. To be saved you simply believe in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross but to be obedient and fear the Lord you need His help daily and you need His Word. His Word and prayer has divine power!!

You can’t serve two masters, so at that point in time you believed but maybe you were serving the other master and not so much The Master 🙏🏻 I hope this helps. I struggle with sin, everyone does but we must repent and try not to live in sin
