@@Calvertfilm i havent driven for few years as living in central london. but last car was a 2.0 Citroen old and no power steering so this is going to feel unreal to me

Sure will. The steering is weighted and for me has a nice response to it. Makes you feel in control. The car is known to handle well too. @@johnsmith-iv8ul

I have 1 of these now with door protectors, and they are great. They were also an option on the Mk3 but mine didn't have them, I think they have improved the design as I heard they were prone to breaking on the Mk3. Sadly, it doesn't stop anyone bumping your doors.

@@petedix2554 Yes comes with the Parking Assistance Pack I understand. True other people can bump and scratch your car still, so I tend to park away from others and walk a bit, something some people cannot do as they have to park near enough to roll out of the car to their destination lol.

I’ve been thinking of getting one of these looks like a really nice useable car and with the hatch back covers all eventualities or there abouts I shall have to get down to fords and have a look . Great review many thanks 👍

Thanks for your comments. I love my Focus. I think they stop production in 2025, as they cannot make them into EV versions. Shame that. Iconic car.

I’ve got a ‘21 ST line fiesta. Great fun to drive but if I’d known we were going to have third world roads in Kent by ‘24 I might have plumped for a softer suspension.

Lovely cars the Ford Focus, all variants and models. Had a Mk 1 for 9 years, and have now come full circle with the last generation mk 4.5 Titanium mild hybrid auto. Will keep for as long as possible as I have no interest in full electric! Added bonus is that Ford give you indicators on their cars, unlike some other makes.

my display graphics are different, i have a focus st line x 2024 bought a month ago,in the trunk I don't have the subwoofer but the compressor with the tire repairer

Interesting the differences. The subwoofer was standard with the X pack when I ordered it Sept 2023 for Mar 2024.

Just taken delivery of this car. It’s lovely but there’s an annoying chime that repeats every 10 seconds or so. Have deactivated speed limiter but it’s still going. Any ideas?

Yes but you'd have to go on the Ford site I think for the most accurate up to date details.

Just had a quick browse for you. They don't seem to have that Vignale version on the current 2024 range. I don't know enough about the differences, so you may have to ask a dealer. @@nathandouglas4726

You can have a large sunroof fitted if you want one but I prefer not to have sunroofs on my cars.

I thought the st line x was 156hp the st line is the lesser you mentioned

There is a choice of two engines in this St Line X range, 125 and 155hp I think. I've got the lower one which still does 0-60 in 9.7 secs which is fast enough for me these days, and the hybrid certainly gives it an extra boost when needed. Amazing one a 1L 3 cylinder can do. The ST is of course even more powerful. I did track days and Santa Pod in my past, so these days I'm happy with the looks, hence ST Line for me.
