This song is wonderful. It hit me right in the feels. My parents are getting older now... time has a funny way of working. The Mom & Dad of my teens and 20’s that I thought would never be “old” are finally getting there, fast. It feels like the more that I cherish and appreciate my time left with them the faster they age. :/

God, this is beautiful!!! Between the message and The Giving Tree vibes, I found myself weeping. As someone with ailing parents, it’s profound, the sense of gratitude you feel towards them as you yourself get older. The strength and the determination to bring a life into the world and pour all of your love into this little person only for them to leave you to build their own life.
