I was looking out for you. We had a ton of Camaro ZL1's at the event. The small run group and open passing on the straights made it fantastic.

Great driving man! wanted to ask you....im in a pickle. I would love to get into a 1LE but if you can, please disclose any issues you have or had or any with the Auto 10 speed? IN MANUAL MODE......Any lag with the upshifts and or downshifts? After prolonged sessions...have you noticed any lag as the tranny gets hotter? im going back and forth between the auto and manual. Thank you!

No problems with the A10 in the ZL1 1LE with over heating. There is less engine braking with the A10, so sometimes a slightly different technique is needed in certain corners. I did have problems with long sessions in the heat in my old 2018 ZL1 (non-1LE), that I was not able to completely eliminate. The ZL1 1LE has a different trans pan and oil level. The A10 ZL1 1LE is slightly faster per GM testing. It is massively faster in the standing quarter mile.

@@RacingforALS Great thank you for the info. Ive been tracking a Dual Clutch system in my 2011 BMW M3 the last 8 years and havent had any issues. I had to ask because your's is a true Torque Converter and had to ask someone who actually uses their A10 on track and not just cars and coffee.

What is your take on the M6 vs A10 debate?

The A10 is a fantastic automatic. It is faster than the M6 on the drag strip and road course. The M6 is more enjoyable on the street and the number of RWD V8 cars with a manual are becoming rarer. I would drive both.
