Great lap.. I'm there this weekend w/Chin. My first time out with my new APR 300 rear wing. I'm on zero degrees angle thought I'd start out there?

So, there's been some debate on whether to run the APR wing at what angle. I would say run it in the least drag setting, especially at a track like Road Atlanta. The PDR data comparing Ron's car in the video to my car with the stock ZL1 1LE wing indicates that you hit 3-5 mph higher speeds on the 8-10a straight, but he had higher speeds 11-12. Different tires, but I wouldn't put more drag in the car for downforce.

Impressive! What springs are avail for the reg ZL1 that approach the 1LE rates?

@@gbass7328 I'm not aware of any mass produced springs that approach the ZL1 1LE spring rates, which I have not been able to identify the actual rates on the internet. I believe the Eibach & BMR ZL1 springs only lower the car with similar spring rates to the factory ZL1 springs.

@@gbass7328 Here is the best info I found discussing spring rates. ZL1 1LE front rates are around 450 lbs/in and the ZL1 springs are less than 200 lbs/in. www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=601956

Yes that is a great chart of what is speced for those cars. The YYZ Hyperco spring set is the only lowering spring that I see that can offer more rate from a great design team. Was just asking for other possibilities and experience from owners.

Unless you are one of the 20 or so lucky picks, then you unfortunately won't get a 2024 Camaro ZL1 1LE. There was a recent last batch produced, and buyers could not choose any options.
