i found that if you sit in it and move the seat all the way back and all the way back up then the light will go off but it will come back on but so far it does stay off for a while

Unnecessary to remove all of that. You can just unclip the wire harness and roll the fabric back in the front and the mat will slide out. Don’t need to remove the seat or anything.

It can be fix for good. With out buy a new part. A very sharpie blade, Iron Solder, mask and uv light 💪
