I love the idea of more power, but I want a dependable car after the power is added. What’s the point if I have to look at it in the shop all the time. GM already has the 8 second LS to EV conversion kit for this camaro. Simply pull the LS, and swap in the E Motor. Bolts right to the transmission and everything!! Awesome!! Electrics are the future!

I have a stock (650HP) 2018 ZL1. My wheels spin a lot as it is...so a lot of this would be lost through spin anyway. Would be good once I'm up to speed/roll on the power/top speed, but the spinning wheels would frustrate me even more. Imagine one of these babies with AWD. You would lose some of the RWD fun, but at least you would hook up.

@@Ls3adrian I want to be able to launch anywhere around town. I guess if you want to be able to do that without special tires, surface, conditions, etc., then you need to go with an AWD car. But, with AWD you lose out on some of the other fun stuff. I guess there's always a trade-off. BTW, you will see a parking lot rev video with my ZL1 on my channel. I did that two nights ago.
