SID Hunter I feel agressivity and poor jugement in your comment.first,I am not jew,and not from a colonisation prone country.Second,when people make ressorts where a room is 500-1000$/night,it's indecent in my eyes but not seems to bother you...Maybe you are one of the few khmer who can afford it.anyway,the point is that developement is beneficial for any country if on a total control by it's gouvernememt.few individuals,rich or poor,can't do nothing about that,but to adapt.Or leave this beautiful and agreable country.If I choose to live here,it's because I don't agree with the values of the west,constraint and lack of spontaneity.What I regret is simply personal,and of absolutely no importance.Thank you to give me your opinion.peace.

SID Hunter I don't get you, the Westerns are bring peace and joy also improve our equaility system. And if you're gonna talk about the pros of the Chinese please consider the cons of their influences. Many of our people forced out of their homes and being tortured by the Chinese also by our police. Because they're following the order of the Chinese government. Also, you said that they're developing our country, Yes! But they're making it into a shithole. They bring corruptions and gifts that we need to make a 99 years lease with the Chinese Government on Lands and people's properties ... after receiving those gifts. Ehhem! Vietnamese here. Hi, everyone. I've been watching this major election in Cambodia(Cam Bốt in Vietnamese) for couple months. Hun Sen, once submitted to Hanoi authority, now changed his mind to the more prosperous, powerful China. China has for decades been trying to win back their affluence in Cambodia, also that they were the one who backed the brutal communist Khmer Rouge leading to the most severe genocide in southeast Asian ever since. By then, Vietnam communists were in an intense conflict with their Chinese 'comrades'. After, a bloody invasion by Khmer troops into southern Vietnam territory, Hanoi authority quickly retaliated by sending troops over border to overthrow Khmer Rouge. That was the first war the recently united Vietnam involved since 1975, you all know what had happened before 1975. So it's called the '3rd Indochinese war'. The 20 years followed was a nightmare for all Khmer and Vietnamese people. As mentioned before, Vietnam authority chose Hun Sen, who had been a Khmer Rouge officer, to represent their power in Cambodia and settled down with the UN and other countries retreated their troops back home, 1991 Paris Peace Talk. At first, Hun Sen appeared to submit to Hanoi. Actually, just since 2016, when the former Vietnamese Prime Minister(PM) resigned, Hun Sen began to overtly oppressed the opposition CNRP and shut down independent national press. Since the collapse of the Khmer Rouge, China hasn't given up their ambition to retake their control over Cambodia. As part of the President Xi's Belt & Road Initiative, Beijing has been investing billions of $ on Cambodia's infrastructure, China even hires a deep-sea harbor, south of Cambodia, for 99 years. Hun Sen gov now get much more benefit from China so Hun Sen is no more afraid of Vietnam's indignation. Right in the first place, China's manipulation plays a major role in the messed-up Indochina for their own purpose.

No doubt China will take the advantages by helping Cambodia. Just remember there is no free lunch man. Cambodia will be the hub for China's companies and politic center (China's economic and political interest, and perhaps also in military since Cambodia location is so close to South China sea) in Southeast Asia, since Singapore already being economic hub for West and in Southeast Asia. And the weakest country which can easily controlled and in strategic location is Cambodia where are geographically in the center of ASEAN countries. Make it easy for China to spread their influences in Southeast Asia.

Since the past 2 years, Secretary General of VN Communist Party, Nguyen Phu Trong(Nguyễn Phú Trọng) has been carrying out a purge to eliminate his oppositions inside the regime, and is more and more yielding to Beijing's authority. After all, they're comrades, aren't they? Last June, the Vietnamese National Assembly has almost approved a bill to lend our three most significant coastal territories to China for, wait for it, 99 years. After massive protests occurred in many provinces, the Assembly reluctantly withdrew the bill lest there will be more protests. They, however, passed the Cyber Security Law, which becomes effective from Jan 1st, 2019. The overt press oppression has been initiated in Vietnam, too. Apparently, Indochinese countries have been falling over China's warm, dollar-rich arms. So you think things are bad enough, believe me, it could get worse. Asean protect cambodia against china. thailand provide labor work for cambodia. the U.S help cambodia very little and with the helps, they cant convince cambodia to be on their side as china is the biggest donor. the poor people and the small bussiness now suffer more even with the influx of money that came in. people can be content with happiness without increase of money aslong they dont get drive out and rising cost of living.

In 2015, there was no one to choose from the pool of corrupt and incompetent pool of presidential hopefuls in the Philippines, then came the hype for Duterte, a simple but unorthodox mayor from a well-disciplined Southern City that is well known for his swift justice style and manly aura. The dormant political families in the last two decades funded him to the presidency not to mention he was looked as the image of the masses. But there was a missing piece of the puzzle how did the Philippine electorate radically changed. Soon after he consolidated power, the Oppostion party lost most of its members to the ruling party. They were not even considered a minority because of a dubious pseudo-opposition party which was installed by the current speaker of the House which before was a former corrupt lady president that this opposition leader jailed. Today, the adminstration does not even have an opposition to check and balance power especially the human rights abuses because of a widely public driven propaganda that all that are against the government are having the same colors and should be hated. A hate that was implanted to someone they didn’t really know but for the sake of being accepted by the community of blind followers. I’m talking about the so-called “Trolls”. These are overseas Filipino Workers who are alone in a foreign place with nothing but a phone and a network of propagating fabricated news to rationalize why this country needs a strongman to fix poverty and by the same time, blaming this to the former ruling political group- all for the sake of being socially accepted by a group of people in the realms of the internet to escape the harsh reality. There is even a joke here that if you are not sure if it is True or if it is false- IT IS TROLLS. The missing piece of the puzzle in who is funding them directs to if it’s not the Marcoses, the former dictator’s family; it is an authoritative regime Duterte admires, a government with no opposition. This trolls are everywhere, HongKong, Singapore, Dubai, ChiTown SF USA, as long as they are reached out by Duterte’s Social Media Propagandist well known in our country as a former sex toy endorser and her army of Blind Followers, they are even here. If Duterte will be succeeded by Marcos Jr or his daughter in 2022, one thing is for sure, Duterte will have somewhere to go to in case The Hague will condemn him once he stepped down. Today, even his Half Chinese lifelong assistant is eyeing for a senate seat. We don’t want to end up like Hambantota, Sri Lanka, Maldives or what recently happened to Najib Razak due to this Belt amd Road Project. But as the elders says “Stupidity is contagious” (I don’t really want to speak with that kind of language because that is the characteristic of a semi-professional Filipino Troll). But as we can see this lind of Social Media Activities is also happening to the US with what we know as “the Russian Trolls”. In fact, I had seen several cases where the US events resembles what we have here (just so you can have idea). Obama was the better person, yet was villified by the Trumptards, Our former president which is an ally of Obama had the same destiny. Trump previously had a show with NBC, today this network attacks him. Duterte also had a Davao show with ABSCBN, today it is one of the fiercest critics of the President, with threats to nullify its license. Donald Trump was linked to a Porn Star We also have one here in the name Mocha Uson Conservative Media have Fox News We also have a network with a bunch of spinsters who targets political motives in the name TV5 Just like how Russia meddled with your elections, we know that there is a big country who did the same thing to ours.
