I watched this many years ago. I do say, Kevin, from all of the programs I have watched, yours by far beats everything I've liked. In from South Africa, I've missed your voice, the opening song of your show and seeing the capability of all your guests performing such extraordinary work, completing their homes, dreams and with such great satisfaction hearing your qualities, neutrally well groomed words to present the world's best show Kelly, you are an absolute gentleman mate, how you speak, keep yourself, darm brilliant husband and father. Loved your build, loved your energy, and how well you did so much yourself with your wife beside you. Incredible, truely Incredible!!

I have immense respect and even more jealousy for somebody taking an idea to completion and then living in it every day. That must be so incredibly satisfying. I built a deck and Bali hut once and it felt like a child of mine when finished.

These episodes of pure craftsmanship are a joy to watch. I love this and "Ed" episodes the best because they have similar philosophy and you can see Kevin thoroughly enjoys himself. I'd love it if he did a series dedicated to revisiting these "Arts & Crafts 21C" homes also a series on the earlier homes that pioneered the things builders/clients take for granted nowadays. Big changes in building industry and would be good to look back. Not the usual replay episode then ten minutes visit but real look..... in meantime will continue enjoying these older episodes.

What lovely people! Truly amazing building and baked that he build it by himself. No struggles with architects going vastly over budget or difficulties with suppliers. The floor is probably a bit outdated by now, but the rest is timeless. I wonder why the house was built next to another house? Plenty of space to put it in any other area? Sewage and power regulations?

At the beginning, we hear Maseko briefly mentioning a Japanese feeling to the building. It isn't mentioned again, which surprises me. We see the vernacular of traditional village homes of Japan all over it. Just beautiful. And such lovely people. And Kevin getting stuck in to help the work along.

One of the best episodes of this show. Amazing house and an astonishing achievement by this incredibly talented carpenter! Twenty years on, I wonder if they are still there? Anyone know if they're happy there? I do hope so.

Wonderful and I hope they will love their life there in a really individual home. Eventually what will an estate agent used to selling standard boxes say? Will this be an advantage to sell or put standard buyers right off? Mortgage companies and surveyors? Sorry to be practical. I'd buy it.

This is easily one of the best projects I've seen on this show; everything from top to bottom is in excellent taste and made with care and craftsmanship. Kelly is one hell of a guy and Maseko is such a great balance in temperament. Seriously well done, this is pushing me closer to want to go into carpentry if my music career ambitions fully bite the dust.

Ich glaube Solarzellen am Dach ist besser als ein Smartphone wo man geheilt werden kann… Man kann immer in dem begehbaren Kleiderschrank led Lampen befestigen und mit dem Handy anschalten ode mit dem Dach alle Lampen verbinden aber sowas wie Wasch, oder spül maschine als auch Herd müssen eine seperate Stromquelle haben
