Decent quality for the size. The blinking LEDs kinda gives it away lol

Believe it or not it's not that distracting. I have another unit very similar to this that doesn't have a camera built in and there's a red light on it. It is on all the time so this one with the blue light blinking you really don't even notice it.

Does this product require an internet connection... yes I know it uses wifi, but you can provide a wifi connection without internet connectivity. Does it require you to set up an account to use the app? I would like to use this somewhere off grid where I can provide wifi but I have no internet connectivity so I will not be able to use an account that requires internet. I will only be able to review video when my iphone is connected to the same wifi.

That's a good question. I do know that it'll still work with no Wi-Fi but you have to use a computer for file payback but I don't know if you can use it on a local network. I'd guess yes but it'd be a complete guess.
