You must respect our relegion not traying to change our relegion. You have to stady islam to understand the benefit of hijab, no musique, no relationship with out marriage, no alcohol ... All those things have reasons. Example: When you were young and your mother asks you to eat vegetables, but you refuse because you think vegetables are bad and taste undesirable, but your mother because she loves you and knows your interest more than you. She orders you to eat vegetables because she knows that they are good for your health and that replacing them with candy and chocolate will make you sick. The same thing in Islam. Some things appear to you that they detract from your freedom or restrict you, but they are in fact in your interest, and if you do not do them, you will only cause harm to yourself.

@doylejodi75023 жыл бұрын
@@soumia7647 you don’t have to preach respecting YOUR religion. I already very much understand the meaning behind ‘religious rules.’ Born again Christian is what I relate to and it has many of its own guidelines and yes, all of them with reasons as well! Dress modestly out of respect, dance only to praise God, surround yourselves with others of similar belief, no alcohol or anything that pollutes the body since it’s the temple of Christ, etc...so I’m not sure why you think I personally wouldn’t know that 🙄since my answer wasn’t judgemental toward that anyway. Ours teaches not to judge others, to be forgiving and to “love thine enemy”. Sadly, not all religions are on board with that last part. Still...there should be freedom of choice. That’s also in ours. The freedom to choose bc it’s between that person and God. Not for others to punish those who don’t ‘conform.’ THAT’S the part I have a problem with...religious policing.
@soumia76473 жыл бұрын
@@doylejodi7502 Regarding punishment we have this verses: (We will indeed let you witness (O Muhammad! the realisation of) some of the punishments with which We threaten them (- the disbelievers) with before We cause you to die. You are responsible only for the delivery (of the Message) and the reckoning is Our Own responsibility). Which mean that no one has the right to punich or judge any one only god do that, people have just the right to deliver the message.
@soumia76473 жыл бұрын
@@doylejodi7502 If you have a young son and he is very sick and he must take an injection in order to be cured, do you advise him to take it so that he can recover, or do you give him the "freedom" to choose to take the injection, and you know that if he does not take the injection, his disease will worsen? The same thing in Islam. We have “ Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice ” to advise a person if he is wrong and direct him towards the right path.
@doylejodi75023 жыл бұрын
@@soumia7647 I have zero issue with giving guidance or assistance to a follower who may be deemed to be veering away from the righteous path. I only take issue with shunning; which some religions do, or punishing which some religions do. Advising a follower in kindness & with God’s love, is one thing. I simply don’t agree with any religion which persecutes. My religion says everyone has the option of choice. Yes, there can be ‘religious’ consequences with the choices the individual makes, by God, the Father, but they aren’t dealt out by people. I’m not so sure Islam follows that same principle of choice? Don’t people get punished by other people for not following God’s law in Islam? Regarding covering the head, doesn’t that partly have something to do with ‘temptation’ & in the belief that it’s necessary due to men’s expected inability to control sexual urges? Man’s law says regardless of a female’s attire, too bad & control those urges or go to prison. Christians are taught that women aren’t to be seen as sexual objects but to be revered/respected. So, if Christianity encourages particular behaviours, discourages other behaviours while still saying people have the freedom of choice, but Islam teaches the same principles but without freedom of choice, then I guess it just means we can agree to disagree. I couldn’t care less whether women cover their hair or don’t cover their hair. I just believe it should be a decision best left for that person to ultimately decide what is right for them after being given all the information regarding it. There are many in that religion who do not cover their hair. IMHO, it’s between God & themselves. If you know they already know what Islam teaches then after that, it’s up to them. If I saw a Christian behaving in a way that may be detrimental to the salvation of their soul somehow, then I understand attempting to give them loving guidance. What they do with that information after that though is up to them. This next comment isn’t really relevant but if I were to see you in public covered up or not covered up, I won’t be judging you ;) God Bless

Phdiva 0890, I must have touched a sensitive chord for you to have begun ad hominem attacks. Desperation must have motivated you to forget civility and norms. However, the decision to wear hijaab is a reflection of a culture's norms and societal standards. In a country that is steeped in religion and is entrusted as the keeper of two of the holiest mosques in the islamic world, it is not a "personal choice" for a woman to drop hijaab and walk around arm-in-arm with one's male escort! Religious tradition and society's standards govern the public image she presents. It is not "her choices." Women in Mecca and Medina" will not be seen without a head-scarf because the culture demands adherence to norms and standards that prohibit expressions of "personal choice" in asmuchas tradition of a culture that is entrusted as the keeper of the holiest mosques in Mecca and Madina demand it. No religious leader would permit such exhibitionism for the sake of modernity or "personal choice!" As for your objection to my not knowing the correct spelling of the holy book of islam, I must remind you that it is written with a "ghaaf" and not a "q." It's pronounced "ghoran" and not "qoran." But then, I didn't expect you to be a knowledgeable person; just a foul-mouth who doesn't know how to argue rationally.

@Vwwi8qojwjqiq90kI5 жыл бұрын
@Ma-vq9kc5 жыл бұрын
