For 1986 it was a bit ahead of its time but has also become a timeless classic. One of the funkiest songs of its time .Still gets me groovin 25 years later. A couple of years ago I played this for my grandson, who is not much of an 80s music fan. He didn't seem to impressed but 2 hours I heard him grooving and humming it to himself.

Unbelievably good. People spend their careers not coming up with something this hot IMO. I love this whole synth funk era.
