Love the addon, just wish it was easier to frame shots when you have them keyframed already, would be perfect if you could preview those accurately

@@diegosandoval6316 I have several ideas how we could use existing features to possibly solve this; would you be able to share a .blend or send me a video of your exact issue?

@@CobyRandalMedia i can try to get you a video tomorrow, where should i send it to? Also, to explain the problem, when you set a keyframe, and you scrub the timeline forward to set the next keyframe, the camera position doesnt update, so you gotta keep tweaking the second or any subsequent keyframes until you get the shot youre trying to get

@@diegosandoval6316 if you can post a link to your video right here in this thread I think it will be good for us and helpful for anybody else who wants to see what we did. 😄👍 *Edit* I can see what you mean about timeline scrubbing. Because CFP was built on top of Blender geometry nodes simulations, it is not designed for timeline scrubbing until I can find a proper way to implement a cache feature, but for now I have found some ways you can still kind of scrub, plus other framing offset helpers that are already built-in! Approaches I recommend if you were starting from scratch: Use autokeying and record your inputs from frame 1 live. If you must do manual keying, use a dummy camera and key it. Then make that the parent and track of the CFP rig (see Relations panel). CFP Timeline scrubbing: Start at frame 1. Do not scrub backwards. Do not scrub too fast. Test against a baked camera to see drop frame simulation de-sync / catching up if flow is fast enough and enough frames are available. The cameras should overlap perfectly, otherwise you know the simulation skipped a frame or two and needs to be played back or scrubbed from frame 1 without skipping. You can also adjust scene frame rate playback in Blender's Output Properties panel for extra help to play forward fast without dropped frames instead of scrubbing fast. I changed my scene to playback to 60 and even 120 fps so that playback was quick without desync from manual scrubbing too fast. Again, this is the temporary solution for this particular scrubbing workflow approach until I can find a proper way to get geo nodes simulation caching implemented. Ways to offset the camera and track point after you've already recorded keyframes: •Method 1: Use the Cam Flow and Track Flow location offsets: Mod Panels: Cam Flow>Offset XYZ, and Track Flow>Offset XYZ. You can also animate these, but be careful because no extra smoothing is added. Very helpful for precise control. •Method 2: Move the Anchor objects: "1. Anchor Cam Loc", and "2. Anchor Track-To". You can also animate these. Be careful because Anchor location is not filtered / smoothed; they instantly offset the flow objects' locations. Very helpful for precise control. However, scaling or rotating them IS filtered and smoothed, giving you a bit of extra smooth control when your flow objects are at a different location than their Anchors. Another caution: if you are using the Relations panel features like Track, Parent, or Copy Location, the anchors will behave in turbulent ways (this is helpful if you want the Track-To flow to feel more turbulent when following a spinning object. To do this, simply move the "2. Anchor Track-To" away from the object's center of mass). •Method 3: Move, rotate, or scale the Root object: "0. Root Loc Rot Scale". To keep the focus / tracking where it's at while adjusting the camera location: set 3D Cursor to where the focus / track Anchor is. Select the "0. Root Loc Rot Scale." 3D View>Transform Pivot Point>3D Cursor. Now scale or rotate the Root object. You can also animate this, but be careful because it is not smoothed; it only offsets the flow objects in rotation, size, and location. It can work well if there are no active Relations constraints like Parent, Track, or Copy Location. Reset Rig and adjust. More ways: •Rotate the camera itself (watch out because it will no longer be aligned exactly to the tracker. You can also animate this. Reset rotation with Alt+R). •Change the camera lens focal length. You can also animate this, functioning like a zoom lens. Ideally, you want to lay down keyframes you like and not have to offset if you can help it. When recording keyframes there a several methods: The first and simplest is to just let the timeline play and loop while you're setting your CFP Camera. You can attempt manual keyframing if you want, but I would try it in live auto keying mode first. Try out what works best for you. A second approach would be to manually keyframe the controller objects without the timeline playing. Once you have set your key frames, play back the timeline to see how things line up. Adjust this speed of the camera flow and the tracking flow as needed using the CFP Cam flow and Track flow buttons to bring up those settings. You can also offset / move all of the keyframes of your flow controllers in the timeline as needed. A third approach: start with a dummy camera and auto record keyframes for it using Blender's fly mode or walk mode. Then set that dummy camera as a parent of the CFP camera (select the dummy camera and then click the "Parent" button in the CFP sidebar panel. Before you click, "Parent" be sure to line up your CFP rig with the dummy camera as desired. You can also let the dummy camera control the track flow object by selecting the dummy camera and clicking "Track". Offset the dummy camera keyframes in timeline if needed and adjust the flow speed / presets as desired. Finally, remember that CFP can auto follow and track characters and objects etc. Use "Parent" or "Copy Location", combined with "Track" for that. Adjust the flow speeds to taste. You can also bake the CFP camera and offset keyframes afterwards if you wish, but offsetting the Anchor objects, and using the other offset methods listed previously should be your go-to for more non-destructive options. I hope this helps! Thanks for asking about this. I think I'll make a walkthrough video tutorial for these methods / workflows.@CobyRandalMedia
