That canon F1 new, with motordrive and 250 recording back was very well priced at 154.000Yen ( approx 1000€) from what i could see other cameras were reasonably priced as well. Amazed at so much quality, all the dealers seemed to have pristine leica's and a lot of special nikon stuff ( black SP with motor wow!) dangerous place to visit 🙂

This used camera Faire in Tokyo is just fascinating. So much variety and much seems to be in very good to excellent condition. I am fascinated by the early post war Canon & Nikon 35mm rangefinders that imitated Leica w m39 screw mount. Some writer or collector or seller should assemble a complete set & history of each brand, how they were made and appealed to GIs and visitors who could not buy the German originals. All of this is interesting history.

I liked seeing the Exakta cameras. Maybe they are not as sought after or usable but I still love them. I probably have the nicest collection in my country. I did not see any plastic or Bakelite cameras there, I guess no one is interested in them but I think they’re nice.

Hey! Great video. I’m new to your channel, and film in general. Been shooting mirrorless for over 4 years. My question, if anyone knows... is the Canon VT-Deluxe a good rangefinder? I found one I. EBay for $489 with a 50mm 1.8 I believe? I have a HiMatic 7S, Pentax K1000 (Japan) I haven’t tried, a Konica Big Mini F and a RETO stereo on the way.
