The Panasonic's & Fuji's are famous for this. Most of there older bodies have some great updates that aren't apparent in descriptions on Amazon and B&H. They hate weaker specs with some massive updates later on even years later. Some of these are sleeper budget beast.

I am doin research on c70 and am looking for currently reviews and I noticed the first batch of c70 had hinge problem where the monitors start shaking and at times not working but those who bought it recently say it comes with a stronger hinge. So yeah checking current reviews is important

Matti is correct. 8K Raw for 10 seconds id 325 MB/s * 10 = 3.25GB/s. All-I is much lesser and 4K HQ is 470Mb/s, which is much less. But Matti misses the point. If you want the data, uncompressed data, then files are going to be big. Don't blame a duck for quacking. I want RAW and All-I. Perhaps Matti doesn't mind the limitations os IPB. 4K HQ and 4K normal are the same resolution and free rate. Why would these files not be the same size. The size would only differ if one was all-i and the other wasn't...

No problem! The card I used is in the description. It's the delkin DC express type b card. It's the only one I've ever used and I've had no issues.

@@magnus547 It is just marvelous, I used the R6 before, not bad at all. But now I can crop with bird photography, and the videos are much sharper as well! I am stuck with to many sharp pictures now ;-) Three personalized modes for video are great as well. The speed is higher in using and working with the Cf card. Etc etc.

I get it, but is it really up to the initial reviewer to constantly update? The onus is on Canon for dropping just a shitty project in the first place. The fact that it got passed QA is the real mystery you should be investigating.

I've already speculated on Canon's evil intentions in this subject and it is upsetting. But this issue happens to almost all manufacturers, so new camera buyers just need to beware. That's my point.

No, I am sorry your choice of the word “wrong” to describe their assessment at the time they reviewed the camera is wrong. While manufacturers have released various firmware updates to correct various problems, their assessment of the functionalities at the firmware version they were reviewing the camera in was accurate because it represented the current state of the camera. Now when I say accurate, I mean accurate to identify a specific problem because we all know everyone’s review could be biased. But if someone identifies that 8k files are large or camera overheats and shuts down etc etc and the manufacturer later releases firmware to fix the problem then how were they wrong? How many times have manufacturers; Canon, Nikon, Sony released new firmware updates only to pull it back within hours because it caused other problems? There is actually a branch of software development called software testing where someone identifies problems through testing and developers fix them with firmware. In a way those reviewer act as beta testers to identify problems that would later be fixed so you can’t say they were wrong. Maybe you should say something like camera reviewers need to update the reviews of their reviews. But you’re right, current reviews are a more accurate depiction of a camera.

Wow, thank you for this comment! I guess the use of the word "wrong" really needs context. Are those early reviews giving accurate information for the time they were released? Sure. Are they accurate as of today? No. So are those reviews wrong? Depends on the viewer. If a novice looking for a camera watches an old review and doesn't know anything about firmware updates, then the video is unreliable for current functionality tests in the camera. So is it wrong information for them? I think so. But like I said, it depends on the viewer. But thank you so much for your input!
