ISO 100,000 might be a bit noisy 😂 I don’t really go over 1,500

1500, huh? Not 1600? 1500 is not a native ISO. Besides, the grain from higher ISO is different with different sensors. You can't say unequivocally that 1600 is the cutoff. Comparing a 5DII to say a D850 would yield totally different results. A lot of what is considered "acceptable" noise depends completely on usage.

PKmode Well I still think on my D810 1600 is my cut off point for almost any photo. Bird photos I took today at 1600 because I had no choice were not ok to me even after editing well. The ones at 1250 were more acceptable wishing I had VR lenses so I could keep it under ISO 500 all the time.
